The hotel is in a great location. The bed was very comfortable and the hallways were very quiet making it easy to sleep. The shower had amazing water pressure! We would definitely stay there again

Stayed here for a week and booked the king size bed with city view. Good location, comfortable bed and clean room. The room had a small fridge which was useful. The weight room and the separate stretching area (looked like a converted squash court) have old equipment but it did its job. Will stay here if I visit St. John’s again.

The foyer of the hotel looked dirty, big old grey curling rug in the middle. The bedrooms smelled bad and the bedroom carpets were sticky and old looking. The restaurant was nice, the food was ok. The service was excellent and the front desk were very helpful. The harbor view was fantastic but would not stay here again for $300 a night.

Check in staff were great and allowed us to check in early which was great, however the staff and service at the restaurant was just terrible overall, so I’ll leave it at that. Overall the hotel is showing its age and is obviously due for an upgrade/ refresh. Definitely not up to “Sheraton” standards that’s for sure. It’s definitely not the same Hotel Newfoundland it used to be that’s for sure.

The hotel is in a great location for downtown, nice view from the room is available, if you book an ocean view room. The lobby is modern and clean, the restaurant on site is nice and has good food. The actual room, is old and had a smell of old cigarettes, for a Sheraton at $400-500 a night, we expected better! Especially to compare to other hotels in the area. I called down twice for more hangers, and towels- no one ever came. Definitely not any kind of luxury experience at this hotel

Staff were very helpful and curtious. Food in the restaurant was very uneven with some items good and others very bad while all being overpriced for what you got. Breakfast buffet was generally good. Machines in vending areas were always empty.

The TV did not work, the phone did not work, electronic foor lock did not work, the property was run down and unkept, the room was dated with damaged furniture and equipment, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The room was very expensive and they charged $25.00 per day for parking. Over rated and over priced. There are far better hotels in St John’s for less money. Don’t stay here!

Outdated, many amenities out of order (chip and pop machines), rooms still have smoke smell despite being non-smoking, and incredibly overpriced for quality. Stayed another night a different hotel in same area for less money and much better quality.

It is a beautiful hotel but our room was right beside the laundry room and it was very very noisy. We could hear the machines, people talking and laughing and the door slam from very early in the morning. The bedroom shared the wall with the laundry room

Cleanliness was fine. However, I had numerous problems getting in and out of the parking lot with the pass keys to get the gate to open, I notice other guests having the same problem. One other thing was a meal I didn"t have in the main dining room. I ordered a T-Bone steak I had to send back twice. The quality of the meat was unacceptable.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, location was good and the hot tub and pool were clean andwell maintained. Only one restaurant on site with a limited menu. Accessing the hotel via the driveway is only one way which makes it dangerous for people being dropped off because cards are backing down the one way so they don’t have to pay to access the parking lot to get out. Vending machines were practically empty and housekeeping needs a little more attention. I personally did not like the fact that the hotel charged my credit card over $1600 as a deposit when my room was fully paid for months prior to my stay.

The hotel is very nice. Had a harbor view room. However the second night we were there was a grad celebration. Very noisy all night. Doors right next to us slamming all night. People in the halls all night. Did not get any sleep. Parking lot was full and even though we as hotel guests paid for parking there was no room to park. Should have even informed of this event happening.
