My short stay was great. I’ve visited this hotel in the past and was glad that it hadn’t lost what made it special. Even though the staff has changed since I last visited they were equally as lovely! honorable mention to Patrick who exceptional.
My room was well appointed, simple and cozy with a comfortable bed and in pristine condition. The bathroom was also a very decent size, immaculate and had great shower pressure. Just 10/10

The location of this was amazing, I am so glad about where I was in relation to the underground. I was traveling alone with my 13 year old and it was so convenient even on nights we came back late. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I felt safe walking through the door and like I could approach them with any questions or concerns. I did not opt in for the breakfast option because it wouldn't let me on expedia so I can't comment on that. The restaurant next door which is deceptively the main picture of this looks very new and modern but had a closed sign the entire time. This is not a 5 staar resort that you come to to stay at the hotel for experiences. This is a family friendly come lay your head down then head out and adventure day which is what we needed. I will say the underground runs directly next to one side of the builduing so I wonder if it was louder for them. We were on the other side and downstairs in the basement and it was great. I would 100% stay here again.

We had to change rooms three times.
The first room in the basement was designated disabled accessible with a wet room bathroom. The drain was blocked so the floor flooded. The floor vinyl was also split. The next room had a defective shower mixer and I scalded myself. The final room had a defective air conditioner that was fixed whilst we were out. The basin waste was partially blocked and the shaver socket was not working and was loose in it's housing.
On the plus side the staff on reception were charming and very helpful in finding solutions as quickly as possible.

I arrived to the hotel late at night around 11pm after numerous travel delayed
There’s a heat wave in London at the moment and when I got to my room the temperature on the control was reading 30 degrees. I attempted to turn on the air con but it didn’t appear to work
I called the front desk and a member of staff attended. He was unable to help with the air con and said it would have to be reported the next day. He then provided a fan which unfortunately just circulated hot air around the hot room
I was staying the night before a major professional exam and obviously did not sleep. The temperature in the room only dropped to 28 degrees
I got my partner to contact the hotel the next day whilst I was sitting the exam and thankfully I got moved rooms the next nightb

I recently stayed at the hotel for two nights over the weekend, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
The biggest issue was the noise. It honestly felt like trains were passing directly through our room, making it extremely difficult to sleep. We specifically asked at reception if it would be possible to move to a room on the opposite side, away from the railway lines, but this was not accommodated.
Additionally, the hotel itself feels quite outdated and could really benefit from some refurbishment. The breakfast was also very limited and did not meet expectations.
Overall, I was quite dissatisfied with the stay, mainly due to the noise and lack of comfort.

Some payable parking around the area of the hotel, with reasonable enough charges.
Staff very nice indeed.
Room pretty clean and comfortable.
Breakfast a little disappointing, although again, clean restaurant area and decent coffee.
Location for underground couldn't be better - created some noise in the room from the tracks, but didn't disturb our sleep and fantastic for convenience if travelling into the city centre etc.
All in all, we would definitely stay here again, especially at the reasonable price we paid.
Thank you to the staff for being very pleasant indeed.

We stayed in the room with small kitchen area but no fridge So used to it in Canada and America. Room was newly decorated. Very nice indeed. Bed was excellent. Bathroom small which is typical in UK. Hotel has elevator/lift. Excellent Indian restaurant literally next door to hotel. Staff friendly. Underground just across the street but only stairs down to platform/track.
