This Hotel was booked for an overnight stay after the Peter Kay show which I bought for a Xmas present for my Wife, and I paid for the upgrade room which I was not sure about at all BUT we were really pleased with what we experienced. The show was amazing and there were NO problems from start, stay and finish. We would gladly stay there again.

Hotel was lovely friendly staff but the food was awful. Evening meal very disappointing, overcooked steak undercooked chips and a ceasar salad with no dressing or Parmesan cheese. For breakfast there was no bacon or sausage and the buffet was not restocked for a good 10 mins. I would stay at the hotel again but would eat elsewhere.

I was given a Corner room with no view of the river even though I was promised a good river view when booking. The staff were very dismissive when I complained and even refused to change room when I offered to pay for an upgrade. When I asked for an upgrade they were more concerned about having to pay before even checking for availability. I find that very condescending. As big as the hotel was only one receptionist was there around 7pm and was keen on using all the time she had on the people before us. For an hotel that was well sold on the app the service and staff didn’t match up at all. 0 ⭐️

Excellent location, rooms face out looking over the river, very close to lots of restaurants, bars and the shops. Lovely walk along the quayside. Rooms spacious and clean and lovely seating areas to enjoy a lovely drink with a fabulous view.
