南安普敦海逸酒店

The location is not good, far away from the city center. The room is not very clean. The staff will not let you feel welcome. The car park is not on site the hotel, need to walk to the public car parking , walk 5-7 mins. I will not stay at this hotel again.

we really enjoyed this hotel. They had an a spa that was included that had a steam room, sauna hot tub and a pool. We missed the Michelin star restaurant but the other restaurant on the sixth floor was also very good. Very spacious rooms with good views of the harbor we would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat.

The front desk was exceptionally helpful with check in, recommendations for activities, and arranging transportation. The views of the harbor from our room was phenomenal! The restaurants were quite nice, but reservations are a must.

Loved the breakfast buffet and coffee bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely decor and design, comfy beds. Very clean. Check in and staff generally need a little more polish to be considered truly 5 star. Room service dinner was nice apart from chunky chips with the fish and chips were hard.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Rooms were luxurious. However, I had to change rooms because the toilet would not flush and I was informed that a plumber would not be called until the following day! Also, the internal lift that goes to the spa was not working, and another entrance was locked, meaning that guests had to go outside the hotel to enter the spa and pool. This is not ideal. Breakfast at the HarBar in the 6th floor was good but not outstanding. In short, this hotel needs more customer responsive management to reach its potential for 5 stars.

Great location

Excellent property and service.

We had booked two overnight stays at the start and end of a cruise. While on bith occasions we arrived at the hotel well ahead of normal check-in time, we only had to wait a short time until our room was available. This was very good as it was tiring after a long journey. The hotel is convenient for cruising from Southampton as it is only a short distance to the ferry terminal, but the hotel provided a complimentary transfer on the embarkation day. However, it at £229 for an overnight stay it is not cheap with breakfast additional. WE didn't have dinner at the hotel, so can't comment, but did have drinks in the bar on our second stay. Not cheap there either, but staff helpful and friendly.

Chose the mini suite with kitchen, not really intending to use the kitchen but just wanted to warm some milk before bed. BUT no the kitchens are non functioning the hob and ovens are disabled for customers SAFETY !!!! As an OAP clearly I am not experienced enough to use a hob or oven. Why sell a room with a kitchen and add a premium to the price and then disable all the appliances? There is a desk - NO plug sockets anywhere nearby, no usb points anywhere in the room. Only plug socket not in the kitchen is covered by the sliding door to the bathroom! Good luck if you need plug in a hair dryer or straighteners. The complimentary gin in the room will barely make one drink certainly not two. Room was clean and looked good but badly designed for any practical purposes. If you need to call the hotel for any reservations ignore all the options on the phone system as they will will be permently engaged or just not answered at all. Opt for reception as they are the only ones that will answer.

Deluxe king room felt spacious. The bed was very comfortable and room amenities good. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous stay and food

Alicia (the blonde haired lady on reception - hoping i’ve remembered your name correctly!) was absolutely incredible with looking after us. The food was delicious with a very generous breakfast spread, the spa was clean and tidy. The room was so comfortable and tidy, lovely bed!! only a few things which we feel could improve; the coffee, tea and biscuits were not restocked every day so we often had to call to ask. Flannels and a toilet roll were not always resupplied so we needed to call for those too. Kids were very loud and splashing in the pool so the spa wasn’t always the most relaxing. However, we are so thankful for our stay and we will be back!! Thank you Alicia for making it so special, we hope to see you again on our next visit! 5 stars to Alicia (so sorry if my spelling is wrong!) but please do pass on my praise.
