Fast check in, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. It's not the fanciest hotel in the world, but it isn't claiming to be. Good range of tea/coffee in the room, comfy bed, and easy to use air conditioning in the room. Walking distance to a small town centre with lots of food options, and literally next door to a petrol station if you just wanted a snack. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel, didnt have breakfast but the building is stunning, amazingly renovated retaining lots of the features. Staff were incredibly responsive. We will be back....

Room was clean but there was alot of cobwebs swinging from the ceiling. Water struggled to drain when showering so ended up standing ankle deep in water after washing. Bed was comfy, breakfast was enjoyable. Handy for the hospital.

The room was fine, it was clean but a little dated. The beds (2 singles) though were very uncomfortable. One had the springs poking through. On asking for a mattress topper or a different mattress, the response was that this was not possible. Mattress toppers were later added but why indicate this is not possible when it is? We were cold on the first night and requested a blanket. We were informed that the hotel did not have any blankets! After considering moving hotel we were given a second duvet each which did the job.

Was hit with a £15 a night fee on arrival for bringing my dog even though that wasn't listed anywhere on Expedia, and trying to find it on their website I could only see the fee once you start booking a room. Clearly needs to be listed better for clarity.
The stay was fine, nothing special, the only thing I was concerned with outside of the fee is they give you two tiny shower gel/shampoo pouches that really weren't enough to cover my hair let alone my whole body.
