Hotellrommet var slitt, ekstremt varmt og sisternen på toalettet måtte manuelt fylles på for å kunne trekke ned. Det var døde kakerlakker på gangen. De ansatte var hyggelige.

POSITIVES The hotel is amazing of you like old things. It’s very historical and has a lot of old artifacts that are fascinating. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. 15 minutes from train station and 15 minutes from the leaning tower. Overlooks the canal which is beautiful. And if you’re lucky you might get a communal balcony to sit out in on the canal. Good size bathroom and reasonable size bedroom. NEGATIVES We were in a side room which overlooked an alley, not normally a problem, but with the current heatwave we were unable to keep the windows open at night due to the street and bar noises which left us with little sleep. The air conditioning unit in our room was also broken. We were left with a small fan that pushed air around in over 31 degree heat, absolutely stifling. The water pressure was poor, and the hot and cold took far longer than it should to kick in. Mostly we had lukewarm water for everything.

Clean room and very friendly staff! Our bed was unfortunately so uncomfortable, hard to sleep.

To be clear, this hotel bills itself as the oldest hotel in Italy. It is definitely vintage. That is part of the charm. My wife and I found it to be a wonderful place to stay. It is right across the road from the river Arno. People do party on the river walk for an extended time at night. If that is going to bother you, see if you can get a room on the other side. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was great! There are only one or two parking spots in the hotel's rear court. $20. Reserve early if you want one. Pisa does not have much parking.

Fantastiskt fint äldre hotell. Enkel frukost och äldre standard på rummen. Men superbra läge och fantastisk takterrass.

A choisir..tentez un autre hébergement.trés bien situé et le personnel est agréable. La décoration est bien, de type musée..en revanche plomberie vétuste, salle de bain trés moyenne, le sol sale,les fenêtre n'ouvrent pas, télé pas programmée, clim hors d'age ne fonctionne pas...lit...heu..à changer Rénovation à entrevoir..

Very nice location and staff!

The property was charmingly old worldly and the position was perfect. But the rooms were very shabby with no fridge, useless air conditioning and the bathroom needed total updating. Overall our room and bathroom were dirty and needed a total refurbishment. As did the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was chaotic - the toaster broke and wasn’t replaced. The coffee machine wasn’t refilled etc because of there not being enough staff. All the staff however were charming and helpful and were working really hard.

Mega fint og hyggeligt hotel! Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og venlige, og værelset var mega smukt. Selvom hotellet er meget gammelt, er det flot velholdt og meget rent. Kan varmt anbefales!

Okay for the money. No AC, lots of mosquitoes due to open windows. Extremely loud until 330AM on Fri/Sat nights. Great location if not driving. Difficult parking with ZTL restrictions.

Great hotel. Centrally located. Excellent breakfast and coffee. Felt like we were staying in a museum. Beautiful rooms and all side rooms we visited while pottering around. Adorable rooftop terrace. You have to appreciate history, old world charm and the beauty of staying in an historic hotel that is beautifully preserved.
