As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

We are a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not permitted in any guest rooms or any other areas inside the hotel. There is a RM1,000 fine for violation of the hotel’s smoking policy. Durian and mangosteen are not allowed in the hotel premises. There is a RM1,000 fine for violation of the hotel’s policy.
Effective 1st January 2026, the rate for an additional bed will be revised to: RM140+ per bed, per night (Price is subject to prevailing taxes)
To ensure we continue to provide the highest standard of accommodation, the hotel will be conducting façade maintenance from 1 May to 31 August 2026. Work will take place daily between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. While we aim to minimize disruptions, we thank you for your patience during this period of improvement.

Cannot even get into for breakfast. The crowd was until the elevator. We left our luggage with the concierge , when we collect , the queue was also unbelievable . Better avoid the any holiday period.

In general, hotels and infrastructures in Malaysia lacks of proper maintenance, this hotel considers quite ok as compared with other hotels, still clean and tidy. Hotel breakfast is below average but it’s free.

Most of the hotels in Malaysia are not maintained well, so must stay in those good quality one then minus off 20-30% of your expectations, e.g. the hotel start is 4 stars (it’s just 3 stars according other countries standard.

All good except if you are driving. There is no complimentary parking and hence you need to pay every time you are in and out of the carpark. The reason given is that they share the parking space with others. If they can make the car park fee capped at RM5, there is no reason for not being able to waive off the carpark fee. Quite disappointing for a 4 stars hotel.

While I’m happy with the room size which is spacious abd love the vanity table and mirror, the cleanliness of the toilet/bathroom needs to be seriously looked at. It realy needs deep cleaning on the walls and floor. And the towels and bathrobes needs replacement as all of them are old and comes with stain marks..even the extras that I’ve requested are old and stained. Housekeeping wise, can be improved more. Bathroom gully are badly choked and water flooded when showering. Hope hotel management can look into them.
