The team at Sugar Beach Hotel is super friendly. Had a very warm welcome upon arrival. Facilities are very clean and they have a wide variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Also, the best view for sunset.

Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen im Sugar Beach Hotel rundum genossen.
Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles einfach perfekt.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und herzlich, was es einem sehr leicht gemacht hat, sich wohlzufühlen.
Die Anlage ist sehr groß und wunderschön angelegt, die Palmen, der Strand und das türkisfarbene und sehr klare Wasser sind einfach ein Traum.
Unser Zimmer war wunderschön und sehr groß, auch das Bad war mit zwei Waschbecken toll, was wir so auch bisher nicht kannten.
Das Essen war hervorragend im Hotel und jeden Tag abwechselnd im Buffet-Restaurant. Das Mare-Mare Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr schön gelegen (direkt am Strand und man konnte das Meeresrauschen beim Essen hören) und der Fisch und Fleisch waren sehr gut, Pizza und Nudeln sollte man jedoch eher in Italien genießen.
Besonders gut hat uns auch das Sushi in der Budha Bar geschmeckt (ist allerdings nicht im Preis inklusive, man sollte es trotzdem probiert haben).
Beim Frühstück hat uns besonders die Saftbar gefallen und der herzliche Christian, der uns die Säfte jeden Tag frisch zubereitet hat.
Kulinarisch war es wirklich rundum gelungen, wenngleich bei Halbpension die Getränke, die nicht inklusive sind, jedoch sehr teuer sind.
Aufgefallen ist uns, dass abends wenig Wein getrunken wurde, da (auch bei All Inclusive) ein Glas Wein umgerechnet um 20€ kostet. Das fanden wir tatsächlich zu teuer, aber auch mit Wasser und dem ortsüblichen und leckeren Phönix-Bier waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Sugar Beach is fabulous! Beautiful spacious rooms, the resort is spotlessly clean, with fantastic restaurants & bars and the staff are wonderful. As a family with two teenagers, we’d highly recommend it. And visiting in July, the temperature was hot, but not too hot - just perfect.

It was amazing, beautiful and wonderful to visit Sugar Beach. Most of the staff is very friendly, but some of the staff less. The negative about the place is the service at Le Patio and Buddha Bar Beach. It was truly horrendous. Waiters will sometime bring the menu and just forgot about is.

Wunderbare Tage im Sugar Beach. Lage und Ambiente wunderbar, sehr freundliches Personal, schöner Strand, angenehme Atmosphäre. Im Mare Mare ein besonderes Menü mit guter Weinempfehlung zum besonderen Anlass direkt am Meer - wunderbar. Unser Zimmerservice Shamila sowie der Kollege am Empfang haben alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Herzliche Empfehlung.

This hotel has all the makings of being a great hotel but unfortunately misses the mark in most senses. Whilst the beach and buildings are attractive in nature, the hotel is more of a 4 star in my opinion. If you’re looking for personalised service or a level of luxury Sugar Beach is not for you.
The reception staff are unhelpful an demotivated, and there’s a level of chaos with most the staff in the buffet restaurant, booking and concierge team. Wasim the head of concierge is the only saving grace here and goes above and beyond to rectify the numerous issues that arise.
Things the hotel need to do to get the level of service expected from a 5*
-training of rude and incompetent reception staff
- Stop advertising ‘afternoon tea’ when it doesn’t exist - only pancakes
- Educate the spa staff on having less of an opinion on medical issues they are unaware of
- Sort the chaos in the buffet restaurant
- Stop garden work including tree strimming at 7am in the morning. Start post 8am
- Be less stingey on all inclusive items, including the embarassing mini bar of Doritos and alpen bars only
- Renovate the pool areas, regrout and clean the tiles
- Have beach service
- Prevent the incessant sellers on the beach bothering you every 5 minutes
