We stayed here for 4 nights during my friend's bachelor trip, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the atmosphere. Our group of 10 girls had such a fun and memorable time. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and every corner feels like a little slice of paradise. One of the highlights was our rooms being right on the beach!!! Waking up to the ocean views every morning was unbeatable, and having easy access to the beach made the entire stay feel extra special. We felt incredibly safe and comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back.

Had a wonderful experience with my daughter. Great location, we were able to walk to all the amazing restaurants in the area. Friendly stafff at Ahau, loved our waiter Sergio. Was very relaxing and serene.

The entire experience at Ahau was amazing. The resort fully embodies the Tulum vibe. We splurged and enjoyed a 2nd floor King Suite with a beautiful beachfront view. The concierge team was immensely helpful in planning and booking excursions. The beach was fantastic aside from the seasonal sargassum. The restaurant food and service were great. Our waiter, Sergio, took great care of us and always greeted us with a warm welcome & smile. Lastly, the added bonus of free access to The Face of Tulum and Jungle Gym helped set this resort apart from all the others we saw while in Tulum. We highly recommend Ahau for couples or families seeking the full Tulum experience!

Sjarmerende hotell med flott beach club. Vi hadde frokost inkludert, hvor vi fikk frukt, samt egg eller pannekaker. Roy, Manuel, Che, Sergio og de andre tok godt vare på oss under måltidene. Junior i resepsjonen hjalp oss med alt det praktiske, samt planlegging av aktiviteter. Vi hadde et deluxe rom. Det var fint, men litt lite.

Extraordinaria experiencia, el personal súper amable, la habitación con una vista increíble y súper limpio y bonito, tienen clases de meditación todos los días y hay instructor extraordinario. Sin duda volveré

Beautiful hotel, great beach, delicious food! We had a great time!

We recently stayed at Ahau Tulum and had a bit of a mixed experience. The property itself is absolutely beautiful the views are stunning, the rooms were clean and comfortable except for the fact the shower in room 22 did not get warm at all. we really loved seeing the animals around the resort. It truly has a unique, relaxing vibe that makes it feel special. However, chris at the front desk was the only nice genuine worker. the service unfortunately took away from the overall experience. We found the staff to be overly pushy when it came to promoting their rewards program, which made interactions feel more like sales pitches than genuine hospitality. We also had an uncomfortable experience with tipping. When we asked for small bills, we were repeatedly given larger ones, which led to us unintentionally leaving a very large tip for a single drink. When we adjusted our tipping afterward, the same server made a joking comment about what he expected for a tip. From that point on, his attitude noticeably changed — he stopped greeting us and the service became unfriendly. It gave us the impression that there were assumptions made about us financially, which made us feel uncomfortable and impacted our stay greatly. While the property itself is stunning and has so much potential, the service experience was disappointing enough that we would not choose to stay here again.

We had an sea view room at beach level, and it was beautiful. The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was basic and adequate, nothing fancy, but we liked it.

It’s beautiful there! Staff worked continuously clearing beach. Included breakfast was very good. You have to put toilet paper in trash which is gross and it’s kinda expensive, dinner was 50 to 60$ each and drinks 17$ but other than that we loved our stay there. Had a great time!

Amazing place

Plage magnifique, super emplacement (peut être un peu bruyant parfois mais franchement ça allait). Chambre sympa, jolie, propre (manque un peu de rangement). Douche extérieure très cool. Jolie vue sur la mer. Personnel super gentil.

This property is beautiful and clean. Staff is welcoming, attentive and pleasant. The beach is stunning and the vibe is calm and zen. The room does not have a mini fridge which was very surprising to learn upon arrival to our room considering we are in a hot climate. The room also does not have a hair dryer or a coffee maker. In my opinion those should be included especially for the price of the room. The food was good however like everywhere in Tulum, extremely expensive, example you will pay around 30$CAN for a Margarita. There is a taco spot just accross the street which was good and comparable to North American pricing. The Starbucks is also right next to the hotel but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. All in all, I do not think the whole experience was worth the money spent. Because of these reasons despite the hotel itself being beautiful, I would not return.

Food quality an options need improvement. Mixology was average while some of the drinks weren’t that good. Price for all was high. Hence is why I give an average rating.
