Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam

The breakfast menu was awesome! The hotel was above and beyond our expectations! The front desk gals went out of their way! I had taken a nasty fall at the airport, they noticed, and delivered an ice pack to our room! Exceptional is the word to describe our stay!!

Very unique property. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Upon arrival they wwre offering (other guests) wine and juice. I had to ask. Also, they have great smelling soap and shampoo (but no conditioner (I asked). The location was a 5 minute Uber from the train, but a tunnel was closed and it took 25 min and thus 75€. I wish the hotel had a shuttle.

I have mixed opinions about this hotel, it’s incredible in terms of the interiors and it’s great to have a restaurant, bakery and bar and indoor pool. When checking in, I noticed everyone else was giving a glass of champagne except for me. I guess it’s given for specific reasons but it creates a weird feeling! Staff were usually good, but when I was checking out a staff member seemed to call people over who were behind me in the queue, leaving me waiting even longer. It’s a bit far out from the centre but the tram is easy to navigate. Rooms are beautifully clean and I loved the bath. The lifts are a pain. I probably wouldn’t stay here again when I return to Amsterdam.

Lovely hotel with excellent and clean rooms. Especially enjoyed walking through the tropical garden inside the hotel lobby. Very unique design. Great view of the water from the balcony. Breakfast buffet with delicious pastries and abundant fresh fruit - nice way to start the day. Definitely recommend. 10/10.

Close to cruise port. Nice hotel.

The room was oddly shaped. Most of the room was unusable. Half of it was entry and bathroom. Big windows but no chairs or tables to sit at. No place to store the luggage in the room. The breakfast was excellent. The onsite restaurant was so-so with poor service (slow). The location is a bit far from the main city. You need to walk over a bridge to the main road to catch a tram to get to Central Station. I would stay somewhere else next time.

God frokost med flott utvalg. Rene rom og veldig kul bar.

Airco werkte niet (verschrikkelijk met deze warme dagen) en ook werd er geprobeerd om toeslagen aan te rekenen van andere hotelgasten.

Great stay at Hotel Jakarta…hotel is clean, staff are friendly and very helpful…breakfast was nice, lots of variety. The bakery is very nice too. Added bonus to have the spa and swimming pool, which we had most days. Would definitely go back.
