I've never stayed at this hotel because that's 5stars hotel and expensive, but I got a great rate at hotels.com so I just paid it. when I first time been here, I just wow wow wow..........and I think it's above the price in value!!!!! Very nature hotel, u could see monkeys(but so dangerous they will into ur room to steal everything, so u need to close ur windows always), many birds, oh bees frying. This hotel was built by Sri Lanka famous architect Geoffrey Bawa, he designed this hotel built around the rock formation, and hotel pool just behind a bigggg lake! Anyway, Nice restaurant, tasty food, nice staff, I hope I could stay here more dayz to experience here.

建築和天然景觀非常的棒，但團客太多很吵雜，餐廳用餐區桌子密度太高。而且房間 mini bar 只有飲料没點心也没水果，大型飯店有寶石商店卻没有零食小賣店，餐廳點心和輕食選擇也少，所以最好自備些點心以防肚子餓了没什麼東西可吃。

It is im no doubt a one of a kind hotel. Amazing views everywhere within and the hotel. Excellent staff and service. Buffet dinner was okay but not great - not enough international food and taste average (but what do you really expect in sri lanka?)
I enjoyed my stay predominany due to its views, location and atmosphere. There are a huge room for improvemeny though - would be great if the road to the hotel is sealed. The bathroom is dated amd esp the toilet is definitely not what you’d expect for a 4 star+ hotel. This is not a cheap hotel. Room assess is via old school key not key card. There isn’t enough power point for mordern living (like even your phone needs to be charged nowaday). But don’t get me wrong I did not regret staying here. It’s just that things can be improved.

the only downside is the room can be cleaned a little bit more, i saw some spider web @ lamps.
