Disappointing Experience at Ritz Carlton, Koh Samui I had high expectations for my stay at Ritz Carlton, Koh Samui, but unfortunately, the experience was far below the standard I anticipated. Villa Room Issues: The villa I stayed in was surprisingly small, with old-fashioned decor. It also appeared poorly maintained, which took away from the luxurious experience you’d expect from such a high-end resort. Limited Amenities and Poor Housekeeping: The amenities were very limited, and basic items weren’t replenished. For instance, the bathing liquid wasn’t refilled, and even after leaving a request with the housekeeping staff for an additional tissue box, it was completely ignored. Moreover, the towels provided were visibly old and had an amber, used appearance—something unacceptable for a property of this caliber. Inadequate Management and Shuttle Service: The overall management service was very disappointing. The hotel car and shuttle services are extremely limited, with only three set time slots for round-trip shuttles to Central and the resort. This makes planning any excursions incredibly inconvenient, particularly for guests relying on hotel transportation. Overall, my stay fell short in many areas, particularly in terms of room quality, basic services, and transportation options. I hope the management takes these issues seriously to improve the guest experience in the future. I will not recommend to anyone to stay in such bad hotel.

游泳池很普通, 酒店地點不方便偏僻,要職員幫忙call taxi, 而且在往酒店內其他地方call buggy比較麻煩

各部門員工服務非常好、如：前台、餐廳、接送乘客往來的車子都很有禮貌、親切，工作效率高、房間設計很好、地方整潔、設備完善！

The resort is just 15 mins drive form the airport with contemporary design without compromising the luxurious living experience. They also have a group of cheerful staff which always around you to offer their help sometime without asking. Overall, an outstanding resort in this island !

酒店員工 非常殷勤 照顧每一位客人 經常主動介紹在酒店的活動。 酒店 有些地方仍在建築中， 但整體十分乾淨，環境幽靜 ，可以欣賞日落。 酒店餐廳質素很高， 價錢合理，尢其是早餐及泰國餐廳。 sea salt 的fire show 令人驚歎。酒店提供免費的瑜珈，泰拳，獨木舟，基本上可以2日不出門 。

第一次入住這間飯店，整體感覺非常好 櫃檯人員親切有禮貌，馬卡龍很好吃 房間比想像大很多又乾淨 早餐選擇很多美味，泰國餐廳值得推薦 泳池最推薦又大又長景觀更優 客房人員非常細心有禮 值都來蘇梅島在來住宿首選

享受了一個六星級的假期，酒店的環境和設施都很好，房間面積大，員工親切有禮。

酒店自成一角，而且地方很大，即使不近巿區，也有很多地方活動。

Everything was great

We were disappointed overall, and do not feel this property lived up to the Ritz Carlton brand. It is a large property, well maintained, with spacious rooms, but we didn’t feel there was anything unique in the style of the buildings…..it didn’t feel like an authentic Thai experience. The lobby and restaurants are not air conditioned, and it was hot with lots of mosquitoes. The breakfast buffet was great, but our dinners were mediocre and we had to fight the bugs and could not enjoy our meals. We will not return.

Wir waren innerhalb eines Jahres bereits zum zweiten Mal im Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui und hatten erneut eine Exclusive Pool Villa. Die Villa war wie beim ersten Aufenthalt in perfektem Zustand, sehr sauber und hervorragend gepflegt. Aktuell werden nach Ende der Hochsaison einige Bereiche des Resorts renoviert. Davon haben wir jedoch kaum etwas bemerkt, da alle Einrichtungen weiterhin uneingeschränkt nutzbar waren. Das Besondere an diesem Resort ist neben der traumhaften, ungestörten Aussicht auf die Bucht vor allem das Personal. Die Freundlichkeit, Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Mitarbeiter sind außergewöhnlich und machen jeden Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet überzeugt mit einer enormen Auswahl – von frischen Backwaren über internationale Klassiker bis hin zu asiatischen und indischen Spezialitäten. Alles ist frisch, hochwertig und wird laufend nachgelegt. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die Atmosphäre beim Frühstück. Die Größe und Vielfalt des Buffets erinnern teilweise eher an ein Kreuzfahrtbuffet als an die ansonsten sehr exklusive und ruhige Atmosphäre des Resorts. Die Qualität der Speisen ist davon jedoch unberührt. Insgesamt hatten wir erneut einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Absolutely amazing resort, service was great and room was fantastic

The breakfast offering was exceptional - an extensive spread covering everything you could imagine, from Malaysian and Indian dishes to European, Japanese, and continental options. The staff were consistently attentive and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable, and the views, along with the beautifully maintained grounds, were simply stunning. One thing to note is that the resort is very expansive, so getting around typically involves using buggies, which you need to request via reception.
