Great stay. The staff were so polite and helpful. The amenities were very nice: pool, spa, gym, etc. Breakfast was amazing. We all enjoyed the stay.

10 points for this accommodation because it is close to the central train station, the accommodation is clean, the rooms are cozy and tidy, the hotel lobby smells very pleasant and relaxing when you step in from the outside. The receptionist is very nice and handles my check in/out very quickly as well as the restaurant staff is very friendly when I asked to borrow 2 plates to bring to the room to store fruit. I am very satisfied and will definitely save and come back to this place next time I come to Sydney.

I got my room on 11 AM without any early check in charge. The room was great, spacious. Walking to Central station is around 3 minutes or less sometimes. Everything was perfect.

1 star. A $2,500 lesson I shouldn't have had to learn. I have stayed in more hotels than most, and I can say with confidence that this property has one of the most dangerously designed car parks I have ever encountered. Upon entering, there is no turning circle. None. Once you're in, you're committed, and the only way out is to reverse the entire length of the car park in near-darkness past unmarked pylons. I am a careful, experienced driver with a clean record spanning decades. I still reversed into a pylon I simply could not see. The repair bill came to $2,500. This is not a user error problem. It is a design and safety failure, and there are zero warning signs advising guests of what they're about to navigate. To compound the frustration, the offer I had booked under clearly stated free parking. Staff attempted to dispute this at check-in, requiring me to produce my phone and physically show them the promotion before they relented. Not a great start after you've just damaged your vehicle in their car park. Once inside, good luck finding the lobby. It isn't labelled on the elevator, so you'll be guessing floors while lugging your bags. I would urge management to install adequate lighting, proper signage warning guests about the reversing requirement, and to train their front desk team to honour advertised promotions without argument. Until these issues are addressed, I would strongly caution any guest against driving to this property.

I wasn't sure what to expect of this place, after reading some of the reviews. But all in all, it was pretty good when considering the price paid over a weekend while Vivid is on. First the good: The spacious room, very comfortable bed, ample mirrors (including full length), the onsite awesome Brew Bar (Sydney Brewery) which does a great range of beers and a daily food/drink special. Happy Hour is very happy/happy! The proximity to Central Station makes it easy to get from/to the airport and then anywhere you could possibly want to go, I zipped down to Circular Quay every day on trains that were very frequent (Exit 3/Elizabeth St is your best exit). The not so good: The rooms are a bit tired, showing their age, particularly the bathroom. But put into the context of the price paid, this is to be expected. The one thing that stood out most was the faint smell of what I thought to be stale cigarette smoke. It was very faint, but noticeable on day one when I first entered the room. I seemed to get used to it as the days went on though.

Check-in process was a nightmare, female staff was horrible, I usually give the benefit of the doubt esp to those in service however this lady was mean and very unhelpful. Another instance when I arrived after a certain time the sliding doors were closed and had to knock which there was 2 staff behind the desk, they both glanced up and looked back to their computer screens, I knocked again and they still didnt move, after a few seconds later one of them came and opened the door. I apologised stating that I forgot my card in the room and asked for another one. He asked for my name, I provided him with my Driver Licence. He then struggled to find my room number, he then asked me for my name which was ridiculous since he held my licence in his hand. He then tried looking it up again and then asked what room, I said I think its xxx and he then glanced at me and looked at my licence to verify it was me. Im ok that they're vigilant but a little excessive in my opinion since he had photo ID in his hand was a little ridiculous. I found a couple more times when asking for directions etc that they weren't that helpful and seemed disinterested in helping. I stay in alot of hotels and ive got to say that the level of service is below average and I wouldn't recommend or stay here again.
