A Memorable Stay at the Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto for four nights last week, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and upgraded to a newly renovated room featuring a breathtaking 180-degree view of the Toronto Inner Harbour and Toronto Island Park—a perfect setting to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and my 76th birthday. The hospitality at the Westin Harbour Castle was outstanding. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was seamless. The food was delightful, the accommodations pristine, and the location ideal—within walking distance of most of our planned activities. Bottom line: we were truly well taken care of, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Without hesitation, we would highly recommend the Westin Harbour Castle to friends looking for a wonderful getaway in Toronto.

So great for families

Hotel is shabby for the price. Not as clean as should be for a high end hotel. Room service Food is expensive, large portions. Staff very nice. Big issue is the municipal tax 8.5% then they apply same tax to the HST!! So taxing a tax. Ridiculous. I will not be going back to Toronto any time soon.

Excellent location on downtown Toronto waterfront. The valet staff is amazing as us the staff at Meszin restaurant. Self parking doesn’t have in and out privileges which is disappointing. A few elevators were not working which caused wait times to be excessively long. The duvet/comforter was very heavy. I would suggest a lighter comforter.

Wonderful staff, was offered a free upgrade to a renovated room on the 15th due to over booking. Was treated incredibly. Beautiful room, modern, nice view and an all around great experience.

J’ai bien aimé mon séjour au Westin que je recommanderais sans problème. Les chambres sont propres, à jour et impeccables. J’ai mis 4/5 pour le service car ma chambre n’était pas connectée à internet alors que ce devait être le cas et que je devais faire du télétravail. Lorsque j’ai appelé à la réception on m’a répondu qu’ils ne pouvaient rien faire et que je devais parler au « technical department ». On m’a donc transféré à une compagnie internet externe et j’ai passé 40 minutes en ligne avec la compagnie qui n’a pas pu régler le problème. Internet fonctionnait dans le lobby mais pas dans ma chambre au 32e étage. J’ai donc rappelé la réception et ils m’ont répondu qu’ils ne pouvaient rien faire..! Il a fallu que je descende en personne et leur reflète qu’il était inacceptable que je n’ai pas internet au prix payé pour la chambre (plus de 400$ par nuit) et aussi qu’il était surprenant qu’ils remettent la responsabilité au client de contacter la compagnie internet alors que ce devait être leur responsabilité. Ils m’ont finalement changé de chambre et le reste de mon séjour fut parfait. Ils ont avoué avoir des problèmes avec internet depuis un changement de fournisseur. Bref, le service à la clientèle aurait certainement pu être meilleur et ils m’auraient évité de perdre 40min en ligne avec une compagnie internet. Autre que cela, je recommande

Woken up by multiple false fire alarms. The place is run down and not well kept. Was locked out of my room for 30 minutes due to my key fob (not key card) no longer working. Water wouldn't stay hot for longer than 5 minutes. Insanely overpriced for the experience.

After arriving around midnight, and finally falling asleep, I was woken up at 3am to a false fire alarm. Usually, no big deal, things happen, but this happened 3 more times during my stay. The place is run down and not well kept. I got locked out of my room due to the key fob (not the key card) no longer working and had to wait outside of my room for 30 minutes while they fixed it. The water wouldn't stay hot for longer than 5 minutes. Insanely overpriced for what you're getting. If you can stay somewhere else, I'd highly recommend any other property in the area over this place.
