DoubleTree by Hilton St Annes Manor

Great location. Checkin was very friendly. The room was nice but the finish wasn't great - needed some maintenance. Things like the taps were badly peeling, the shower tray was heavily stained which makes it feel unclean. Bed was comy enough and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was nice this morning and 12pm checkout time is great!

Great location and huge hotel. Booked it for my son’s birthday as we were going to Legoland the next day. Room was a great size but very hot due to the weather - no air con in the rooms so hotel had provided fans but the plugs were on the other side of the room so fans couldn’t reach us in bed - needless to say we had a very poor nights sleep. Equally problematic was the lack of plug sockets near or by the bed - there weren’t any, So we couldn’t charge phones or devices, nor could we use the room’s mini fridge to keep water cold because the fans were using up all free sockets. Also disappointed to discover that the swimming pool was closed the previous month for over 6 months - one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool. Not once did we receive communication that it would be closed during our stay. However staff were super friendly and kind to my son especially, and the breakfast we had was good. Overall hotel is nice, just some key things let it down

The houseplants in the conservatory hadn't seen water in weeks! Food was mediocre. I was in an accessible room. The facilities were not accessible. eg there was a bath not a wetroom. Handles in the bathroom were not lever handles. Towels had been left 5 feet up!

Quiet spacious room, very clean, staff were very helpful and welcoming (including to our small children). The bathroom needs some updating but the room itself was good. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Staff were really helpful and the food in the restaurant was fantastic.

Nice room decent car park. Shower a bit poor pressure, replacement head was not compatible. Food a bit expensive.

Great breakfast staff very patient with my three grandchildren making a mess at table reception very helpful taking care of medicine which had to go in fridge over night and re freezing ice pack. highly recommend hotel

All excellent apart from this hotel no longer has a pool etc. This was not communicated to us at all beforehand, so we were disappointed as it was one of the main reasons for booking this hotel.

Double room was large and comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and 12 noon check-out was much appreciated. Having lunch in the garden on a sunny afternoon was very nice.Didnt get to use the pool or gym. Asked for a quieter room and got one overlooking tennis courts. A very nice stay. Lunch, in common with many hotels, was good but on the pricey side.

Perfect stay for the family. All very clean, staff lovely and very attentive. Just could do with a bit of a refurb, especially the health club. Had a lovely stay though, thanks!

The hotel room was excellent, the pool and gym were great, the breakfast was ok, the evening meals were appalling for the price. The food was no better than a Wetherspoons pub but more than double the price. Very disappointing.

Everything we required for a family of four with a good selection.

We are vegetarian so the breakfast menu was ok but not that vast for us. There were still great options. The staff were friendly and helpful. I think the rooms were clean but needed a bit of an upgrade in terms of things looking a bit old. Overall we had a great stay.

Clean room, good breakfast available with separate gluten free options.

The hot breakfast seemed to be dry due to being stood and the cooked mushrooms were heavily seasoned in pepper, (I have a reaction with pepper), the evening waiter was absolutely fantastic.

Great stay fab gym and pool one of the reasons we booked this hotel.

Pool area and facilities could have been cleaner,

The hotel let itself by not having a high chair for our 6 month old baby at breakfast. Breakfast was quite quiet yet they didn’t have more than 2x high chairs in the whole hotel. It meant we had to hold our baby while trying to eat breakfast. Shame, as we were looking forward to a nice breakfast where we could relax.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, would definitely come back
