Excellent staff go out of their way to deal with your requests. Rooms looking a little tired in places. Maybe should have warned us before arrival that a wedding was taking place and the impact it would have on common areas. Breakfast buffet was fantastic.

Room was fab, nice and airy and clean. Staff were more than happy to help and were all lovely with my 4 year old son. We used the swimming pool which was cordoned off for us splashing about and lane swimmers. Dinner was OK, loads of choice at breakfast. The dining room was lovely

I just expected a bit more from a hotel clinging to the name Hilton! The restaurant menu bared no resemblance to the pictures on the screen above the reception desk, our room i assume used to be an office or conference room repurposed to be a bedroom, the en-suite was tired and worn but the cleaning staff had done a first class job, the bar could only supply Guinness to an ale drinker, first world problem I know but even a couple of bottled ales would have been nice and £22 for two packets of peanuts and two packs of crisps! Blimey I thought, would I go back, who knows, I would probably stick to a Premier Inn maybe

Would be 5 stars but the pool area is a bit run down. Jacuzzi is out of order and doesn’t look like it’s going to be fixed. Great breakfast, lovely room, shower was great.

Had a great two nights stay here, check in seemed rushed as no information about the hotel was given not even where my room was located and the welcome cookie was never received, on the plus side the bar staff were very friendly and helpful

The water for the extremely low bath was tepid at best. They had been some kind of regulator added to the tap to stop it from turning hotter. The noise from the other guests walking up and down the corridor was too much and I left around 8:30 p.m. on the day that I arrived because I couldn't stay here not with all that noise. Stayed here while visiting my mom for the weekend with my partner as she lives in Wokingham. We picked it as it’s one of the few properties with a pool. It was adequate for what we needed and the staff were excellent. Breakfast is a nice touch and the usual buffet which felt like a treat.

I was tricked ! I booked this hotel through Expedia ! I had put the 10-11th date in but then the system automatically changed it to 11[-12th. I tried to rearrange/ get my money back . I was told I had checked in to the hotel so couldn’t have my money back ! This was a lie . I had t checked in and Expedia and the hotel ceded me . I am going to report them both to the police .dont book Expedia or this hotel , they are dishonest

At 9o/c on Bank holiday Monday breakfast was poorly managed, there was not enough cooked items like fried eggs, mushrooms and bacon. The delay in getting more food was unacceptable. This caused lots of guests to have to stand and wait which meant the food they already had on their plates was going cold. My wife gave up waiting as the tray of bacon took so long to arrive also to be charged a lot of money for some Weetabix and a small Croissant is not good enough. Knowing the reputation of the Hilton Hotels we expected better. We will not be returning to this Hotel. Yvonne and David Saltern Room 154
