We stayed as we were going to the City Hall and have stayed here previously. The location is excellent you can get discount parking at the Qpark, but we used a discount from the city hall. Rooms are clean, have an ironing board and iron, a hairdryer, tea & coffee a hair and body gel, with sone conditioner too! Price was great compared to other hotels in the area. Staff were really friendly and professional. Breakfast was £12, buffet style with full English or continental,, which was great (good bacon!) We will atay here again.

Excellent overnight stay, lovely helpful staff (especially when we accidently locked ourselves out in the night). Did have an issue with the cleaner coming in despite paying extra for a late check out but this was apologised for sinse rally and even given another hour to get ourselves ready. Will be back next time I'm in Sheffield, for sure!

The hotel was conveniently placed, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Loved the split level room with spiral staircase. Nice to still have a hotel that proves robes and slippers and no overwhelming scents pumped in to the room, just clean and well maintained.

The hotel is clean and very close to Sheffield City Centre. The breakfast is good as well. I really enjoy my stay there.

I was firstly given an awkward shaped room with a large useless corridor which made the bedroom area very small. I asked to be moved and the staff did move me to another one straight away. The second room was the expected good size, however the view was a massive wall which was not pleasant and made room darker too. The air conditioning was not strong enough and did not heat the room adequately. There were scratches on the leather bed head, but shower had really good pressure and heat. Location is excellent.

Beautiful building and architecture. Tastefully designed. My room had a few decorative issues in the bathroom, and tv had no guide on screen, not sure if this is in all rooms.

Make sure you don’t get room 144! You might as well be in the pubs beer garden. Really should offer a discount for certain rooms. Very good central location, staff were mostly friendly. Generally fairly clean, but certain areas did look tired.

Room was standard, comfy and clean but a few things let it down. Sink drains slowly and tv wasn’t working in the evening. Some black mould in the shower and a big cracked tile in the bathroom. Nothing that hindered our stay. Bed was very comfy and room was lovely and quiet.

This is the first time I have stayed in the Leopold Hotel, and despite being an older hotel than some others nearby, it is very well maintained. The room was a descent size and clean. I like the way they encourage you to not have your towels washed everyday, more hotels should do this. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My only negatives would be the pillows were not comfortable (this is a personal preference) and my window faced Leopold Square, and there was a lot of noise, especially on the Bank Holiday Sunday night. This made it difficult to sleep. On checkout, I mentioned this and was informed it happened every year. I feel I should have been informed of this and given the choice of a different room. Overall, a good hotel, though.
