施設が古いため、あちこち故障があり、部屋のチェンジをお願いしました。スタッフの対応は良かったですが、交換してもらった部屋も、まあ我慢できる、と言う程度でした。

市内の中心部でどこに行くにも便利です。 メゾネットの部屋に泊まりました。部屋は清潔で概ね快適でした。 エアコンが壊れていて、その旨を伝えたところ、部屋を代えるか、扇風機を提供するとのことでした。 チェックインのときから知っていたようなので、初めからエアコンが壊れていない部屋に通してもらえればよかったと思いました。

Our stay was OK. The surrounding area is noisey late into the night. We were placed in the basement, and initially our second room smelled of smoking and not great. The fantastic staff were understanding and did move us with no problems. Parking is a bit of an annoyance. We had to park a short walk away. The suggestion was that the hotel had a beneficial rate (it doesn’t). It is the same as if you just pulled up. There is a car park that is closer (the NCP) and marginally cheaper (save a £1 overnight). Overall - we will probably look elsewhere next time.

Clean hotel , room bland functional, expected more character and space in room for price. Small fridge useful, excellent location. Stayed as close to town hall for concert

Another good stay. Breakfast excellent.

Great location and pleasant hotel. We had a room with a mezzanine, looks great but not good for the middle of the night when you need to go.... Stairs could definitely do with luminescent strips on each step to help to see where you're going without waking your partner. Breakfast was a good choice.

Great location and good value room. Breakfast was ok, but I would probably eat elsewhere if I stayed again.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast and comfortable room. Parking at a partner property relatively close was OK though frankly road network in Sheffield is now a nightmare (make sure your satnav is up to date and just resign yourself to driving much further than line of sight!). Our bathroom was a little bit "tired" - slow basin runaway and wobbly loo seat.

I arrived early so was expecting to have to leave my case & come back later. I was pleasantly surprised to be checked in & handed my room key immediately. There was also the option to add breakfast when I checked in which saved a couple of pounds rather than deciding next morning…… a clever idea & well worth the £12. My room was lovely - comfortable bed & plenty of mirrors including near sockets which should be a must but surprisingly overlooked in a lot of hotels. There was a fridge too which is always a bonus. The bathroom had a bath with shower over it. I love a bath in a hotel room so I was very happy! Breakfast was good. The usual self service buffet but lots of choice & fresh. The staff I came into contact with, including in the lift were all lovely & friendly. Well done on your staff choices & training. I only stayed one night but it was the second time I’ve stayed & wouldn’t pick anywhere else next time I visit to attend a concert at City Hall. It’s just around the corner with lots of restaurants & pubs on the doorstep.

A wonderful place to stay!

Staff were very helpful and efficient. Lovely bar to sit and relax in, hotel is in a great location in the city for restaurants.

Bathroom smelled badly of sewage. Next room they moved me to had a broken safe. Safe couldn't be fixed as there were only 2 staff on duty covering breakfast, reception, and everything else. This place is seriously lacking funding to run effectively.

The room was sort of clean but had clearly seen better days. The bathroom was not great. The toilet roll holder had been pulled out of the wall by a previous guest and was just hanging there. The towel rail did not work and was thick with dust, the walls were scuffed and marked for what appeared to be a long time. I like the hotel, have stayed before but they do need to sort out the rooms

Perfect location, very clean, comfy bed.

The room was really noisy considering that the windows were shut and double glazed. The car park wasn’t easy to find and was further away than expected. The cold water could not be sourced from the bathroom sink as water was alway warm or hot despite running the tap in all positions. The shower head wouldn’t lock in place and had to hold the head whilst washing. The breakfast was plentiful but some items were lukewarm and the bacon was over cooked.

Great location but hotel is badly let down by poor room. We had a shower which didn’t drain therefore flooded the bathroom also the sink didn’t drain. The wardrobe was very difficult to close, the WiFi was weak so could not get connected. The decor was scruffy and we could not get the heating to work. There was a portable radiator so suspect this was a previous issue. Very disappointed overall as you can guess. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok
