Really comfortable bed, even though very high. The breakfast was very fresh and good selection. One of my favourite Sheffield hotels. Great location.

As a solo female traveller I feel safe staying at Leopold knowing they have a solo female policy ensuring you're never on the ground floor and other things as well. My stay was enjoyable as always. I did find it rather noisy but my stay was on a Friday night so to be expected. It's always refreshing when a hotel room has a fridge and though it had some free water both cans were sparkling. The rooms are spacious.

Make sure you don’t get room 144! You might as well be in the pubs beer garden. Really should offer a discount for certain rooms. Very good central location, staff were mostly friendly. Generally fairly clean, but certain areas did look tired.

Room was standard, comfy and clean but a few things let it down. Sink drains slowly and tv wasn’t working in the evening. Some black mould in the shower and a big cracked tile in the bathroom. Nothing that hindered our stay. Bed was very comfy and room was lovely and quiet.

This is the first time I have stayed in the Leopold Hotel, and despite being an older hotel than some others nearby, it is very well maintained. The room was a descent size and clean. I like the way they encourage you to not have your towels washed everyday, more hotels should do this. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My only negatives would be the pillows were not comfortable (this is a personal preference) and my window faced Leopold Square, and there was a lot of noise, especially on the Bank Holiday Sunday night. This made it difficult to sleep. On checkout, I mentioned this and was informed it happened every year. I feel I should have been informed of this and given the choice of a different room. Overall, a good hotel, though.

Beautiful historic hotel, lovely interior and friendly staff. Excellent city centre location. BUT …. The MOST uncomfortable bed of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Felt like sleeping on a bed base rather than a mattress. The join between two beds pushed together was a ridge like Hadrian’s Wall and quilt felt threadbare. Such a shame as it’s a really lovely hotel .

The building looked first class and you can see the ageless history being looked after , unfortunately the cleanliness in the room was poor with dusting needed in the bedroom area and the bathroom fan was absolutely blocked with dust making it useless in taking the steam away. An overall clean would have picked these issues up 😕

Really welcoming staff on the reception desk and lovely bar/lounge area. We had just booked the standard room which had a modern en-suite, but the bedroom itself looked a bit tired (e.g. coating very worn on headboard). Hotel is well located and I would definitely stay again.

The breakfast upgrade at reception was great and worth it for a Sunday morning. The room was in the basement, yet it still felt light and airy it was also quiet, even with the aircon on and near the restaurant.
