Staff was super nice. Room was clean. Our only issue was a lumpy mattress on the pull out couch. Otherwise, very convenient to the cruise ship and stores.

Great location for train station cruise terminal (15 min cab ride). Close to shops so you can buy any last minute items including a ‘Boots the chemist’ for pharmacy items. Nice hotel. We have stayed there twice now

Vastly overpriced and understaffed for what it is. Reminded me of a 1970's idea of what a reasonable hotel was. Positives: the staff are great but not enough of them. If they're on minimum wage it's criminal, they were so busy and deserve a LOT more. Negatives: Executive room, really? Separate toilet and bathroom with 1970's rendering on the walls. The TV is one step up from Cathode ray tubes, no casting here! Air con? Nope, you get a fan, in any colour as long as its white! Restaurant, apparently opens at 6pm but no-one there til 6.45. Gave up and went to the local Italian. Breakfast, nearly £20 per person and one, yes 1 Coffee machine for a restaurant that looks like it accommodates 100+. We waited nearly 15 minutes for Coffee by which time our breakfast was cold. The hotels one and only redeeming feature is it proximity to the docks. That's it. And at £260 per night per room you know it's a scam. Avoid, stay further out of town and use the short stay car parks by the docks.

The property does not have air conditioning, there are no phones in the rooms so if you have an issue or need something, you have to see someone at the desk. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. The beds were hard.

Overall a great stay. Location perfect for walking to/from Cruise Port and city centre. Pool and sauna lovely to chill out. Found it odd that the toilet in our room is separate from the rest of the bathroom. Comfortable bed and plenty amenities in room.

Hotel old and dated. Childrens area ok. Tables left for ages un cleared. Ants of table at reception and later found one in the fridge in my room. Rooms very hot and only a fan to help cool down which doesnt do much. Not enough staff at breakfast to help re stock or clear tables. Stayed at this hotel 2 separate nights before and after cruising with 2 kids and both times asked for early check in if possible and neither times was our room ready before the 3pm check in. I understand they have to clean the rooms but i was willing to pay extra to get into the room earlier, i thought they might have asked the maid to do our room as priority but no. Drinks in hotel were very expensive so we only had 2. Overall it was ok but i wouldnt stay again

Lovely room. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Downsides were the toilet in the room is separate to bathroom and quite claustrophobic. There’s not much room. And secondly there’s no flexibility regarding using the swimming pool which is why I booked the hotel. Most hotels if they have restrictions on only so many allowed in the pool at one time, having a booking rota so you can pick a convenient time but there aren’t this flexible and you can only use it once checked in or before checking out. So we never got to use the pool at all. We had breakfast quite late so no time for using pool before checkout. They should have a better system
