As family we needed a room to crash after a day trip to Peppa Pigs World. Before I arriving I already knew the Air Con and Wi Fi weren’t working. However there were solutions to the problems. For me getting free hot milk from the bar for my toddler was a big deal. The room itself was spacious with a double bed and double sofa bed. We’re only there for one night so the hotel managed my expectations before arriving.

Clean and spacious rooms, nice bathroom with both shower cubicles as well as bathtub , friendly staff and nice full English breakfast if you have opted for that. Just a note, you will have to pay for car parking (£12 per night)

Overall we had a great stay! Hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful. Especially calling us a large taxi to drive our party to the cruise terminal.

Bra rum, skön säng och bra frukost. Men det är dax för lite målning och uppfräschning. Personalen var hjälpsam. Ligger bra om man skall eller kommer tillbaka från kryssning. Ligger nära tågstationen. Minus för att de inte har AC men det funkade med fläkten som var på rummet.

Muy caro para lo que es, no es un 4 estrellas como indican, habitaciones sin aire acondicionado y el servicio de restaurantes normal, los hoteles en Southhampton todos sin excepción están sobre valorados precios mas caros que Londres, se aprovechan de la necesidad de los pasajeros que van a los cruceros y tienen que hacer noche en la ciudad

No aircon and 27 degrees outside meant it was impossible to get comfortable. Staff were fine. Amenities were ok but the bar area is a bit tired. For the price, there are way better hotels in Southampton and I probably won't stay here again.

Lovely hotel - nice staff. But heat in room was unbearable. Small fan provided. Window will only open a fraction. It wasn’t even one of the super warm days. Could only try sleep on top of bed with window noise from the road below from the window opening - which was needed. Never again. I’m sure it’s perfect to stay in outside the summer months though.

This was a one night stay before taking a cruise. Location was near the cruise port and an easy UBER ride. We were notified ahead of time that there was no AC. Even though it was very warm outside our room temp was manageable by using a table fan that was furnished with each room. We arrived early and the staff made very effort to get us into our room which was greatly appreciated. We had a good stay.

Hôtel sans climatisation, pas de produits dans la salle de bain hormis savon pas à la hauteur d’u. Sois disant 4 étoiles et surtout du prix !!!!! Vaut mieux un ibis.

We were in Southampton on one of the hottest days of the year. The hotel is not air conditioned. A small fan was provided, but it was an unbearably uncomfortable night and neither of us were able to sleep. I have stayed at the Novotel numerous times over the past two decades and the hotel is increasingly dated and tired, especially the bathrooms. Considering increasingly hot summers, the owners of the hotel should invest in Air Conditioning.
