Breakfast was a a buffet and a little sub par to other European style breakfasts. Room was perfect and had a partial view of the abbey. We had a lovely dinner the previous evening. Food was excellent and wait staff were very attentive and accomodating to my wife's gluten intolerance.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was disappointing. While the front desk staff were very friendly and genuinely helpful, the rest of the experience fell short. The beds and pillows in our room were not comfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Things got worse at dinner in the hotel restaurant. My main dish was chicken, and it arrived barely warm, very red inside, and clearly undercooked. When I tried to explain the issue, it seemed they didn’t understand that the chicken was raw in the middle. I had to send it back, and I didn’t eat any of it. Despite this, they refused to remove the meal from the bill, which was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, these issues overshadowed the positive interaction with the front desk, and I wouldn’t consider staying here again.

Front desk was fast and helpful. Room had a great view & balcony. Room was very dated. Cracked tiles & stains in carpet. No Ventilation in room unless you open windows allowing mosquitoes inside. Breakfast was just ok. Expected more from the place.

This is a perfect place to stay for your visit to Mont St Michel. It is the closest hotel to Mont St Michel (about a mile walk) not on the island. Some of it's room and it's restaurant has views of Mont St Michel. Our room was updated and comfortable. It was great to eat breakfast each morning with the view and easy to walk or pick up the shuttle to take us to the island

The hotel itself appears in need of a refresh. The walls and carpet look dirty. There were several stains on our carpet and the room is very dark. The lighting is completely inadequate. The upside though is the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom clean.

The location of the hotel is amazing: right by a shuttle stop to Mont Saint-Michel, with amazing views from the restaurant, terrace, and some of the rooms. It is also right beside the damn which offers a space to relax and to watch the sunset. We had a garden room with a view of the top of the Abbey and lots of greenery around. The room was large with a nice balcony. The bed was also large (maybe a king?) and comfortable. The hotel is quite dated though, mostly evidenced by the badly stained carpets. The staff in the restaurant were very nice. The ones at the front desk were hit and miss. Breakfast was ok.

Overall a good stay at the Relais. We chose this hotel because we wanted to view Mont Saint Michel from our room. The view did not disappoint. The hotel does seem dated but we were told they were in the middle of renovations. We also arrived an hour early and they did not allow us to check in early. The hotel is located right next to a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel which was convenient.

The hotel, like all others in Mont Saint Michel, is rather dated. Notwithstanding, the location is perfect, rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is good, considering the other options around. The bed was quite comfortable. Overall, given the few choices available in the area, this property is a reasonable choice for a couple of nights, which is enough for you to explore Mont Saint Michel and surrounding areas.
