I stayed here with my Geriatric parents. The location was great! The room didn’t feel small for Japan hotels and 3 adults were comfortable in the room with 3 beds. I will stay here again.

Awesome location and great staff. Our room has a lot of hair on the floor which was kind of weird, but otherwise very clean and nice. The breakfast at the restaurant was definitely Japanese inspired and a little different, and was really the only breakfast option other than convenience stores or ramen. Would definitely go back just for the location and modern vibe.

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were so nice and helpful. The location couldn't be beat especially traveling with a one year old. The rooms were clean, the beds were softer for a Japanese hotel, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is just absurdly good. I didn’t appreciate fully how nice it is to be in the heart of Gion until we got there. It’s a stone’s throw from a Lawson’s, walking along the river, the coffee cafe M Stand (this is absolutely the best kept secret - you want incredible views and top tier flat whites? Go to M Stand and thank me later)… close to transit… Aircon in the room worked great and was somehow silent… and the four beds worked out well for our family. Front desk was so helpful - recommend if you do the Kurama/Kibune hike that you get their help booking a Kawadoko lunch/dinner.

This The Park Hotel is wonderful. It has an art exhibition/ displays which kicks off a great start to staying there. It is soothing and calming straight away; more so after a long haul flight. The staff were delightful and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very good about answering questions and giving advice on where to visit. It was our first time to Japan. The rooms were beautiful (we went back three times during the course of our two week stay) and the food was delicious. Totally recommend their breakfast in particular. Nice way to start the day. We could not have had a lovelier experience. I would recommend The Park Hotel to anyone.

Rooms are clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. The self-serve check in-out misses out on a personal welcome touch. Location is outstanding and is just a block away from the four covered shopping arcades such as the Teramachi. Also central to many temples, shrines, Imperial Palace etc. Subway is also a block away. There are so many restaurants and bars just outside it is a hopping area for night life.
