Very nicely appointed modern design and a great location near shopping areas and Sanjo subway and bus stops. We would have liked a room with a view of the city instead of the inside parking courtyard and more vegetable breakfast options for pure vegetarian/vegan folks. For non-veg folks the breakfast buffet was great. We did not have much staff interaction unlike at some of our other stays in Tokyo and Kawaguchiko. But whatever little interactions we had they were very positive. Will stay there again in future. But will ask for a room with better view.

We had such a great stay! The hotel was located off the main streets for shopping and within walking distance of bus stops and the subway - so convenient! We loved every aspect of the stay. A beautiful lounge area in the lobby, clean rooms, and helpful service.

This hotel was pretty good! Location was good, though seemed to be a bit further from the train station (at least 6 minute walk which is far for Japan standards and after a long day). Hotel is close to a busy street which was hard to walk through the crowds when we wanted to go back to our room. The room was very warm however, the lowest the temperate went was 20 degrees Celsius and we were pretty hot at night. Some amenities they keep behind the desk which is kind of annoying to have to ask for, and also not sure of what they have or don’t have.

Room was clean. no smart tv, so plan on watching everything in Japanese. The locket are is separate from shower with own sink but no hand soap? We asked for soap but they said they don’t have it. Staff in general wasn’t that friendly.

This hotel was excellent. We really enjoyed our time here. The staff was extremely efficient, knowledgeable and very friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. My wife LOVED the room. We ate our breakfasts and a couple of lunches in the attached restaurant (the Kiharu Brasserie). The food was amazing! So much variety, freshness and delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I’ve never left a review before but I had to leave one for this property. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone!

The check in process was through a self check in versus a computer, they had someone who was helping but she barely spoke english so the process took longer then necessary if I had to just done it myself. Also for a higher priced hotel not having a reception check in was weird. The wifi in this place is abysmal. We had a really hard to time searching anything and had to be on our portable wifi most of our stay.
