We stayed at Cross Hotel Kyoto with our family and had a great experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, which made our stay with kids easy and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly, polite, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The hotel is in an excellent location central but perfect for exploring Kyoto on foot or by public transport. The common areas are modern and well designed, and everything felt well organized and thoughtfully managed. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. We would definitely recommend it for families as well as couples or travelers looking for a stylish and well-located hotel in Kyoto.

Highly recommend staying at this hotel. I originally booked this hotel for the price and location. It’s a short walking distance to the subway to get to popular attractions such as the Arashiyama Bamboo Forrest, Fushimi Inari Taisha, and Ninenzaka/Sannenzaka. There is also a ton of shopping and amazing restaurants around this hotel and a bike rental right outside. We booked a king bed and it was very comfortable. I also took advantage of the lobby’s free coffee machine. We enjoyed this hotel and location so much we ended up extending our stay. Would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Kyoto.

I could not have been happier with our stay. Hotel was very pretty and the location was genuinely perfect…a quick walk over to Gion, right by the Kamo River, a block away from terrific shopping, close to Nishiki. Just outside is a beautiful canal with cherry blossoms(when in bloom). If you want the traditional Kyoto, it’s right there, the modern Kyoto, right there as well. Staff took care of all our needs. Of the four hotels we stayed at, this was one of the lesser ones in terms of warmness of the staff, but they were hyper competent, which made up for anything in that department.
