My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Clarion Hotel The Hub in Oslo. The hotel is conveniently located to many sights and to the Train Station. The rooms are very quiet, comfortable and clean. There is also the largest buffet breakfast we have ever seen with so many breakfast options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also plenty of shopping close by. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a visit to Oslo, Norway.

Excellent location, right next to the railway station and within walking distance of many important tourist destinations. It had the best buffet breakfast of any hotel I have stayed in - a huge range of options including barista made coffee. Dinner at the restaurant on the 13 th floor was also great.

The hotel feels overcrowded, and you notice it in every area. Breakfast is tasty, but the dining room is chaotic, with far too little space for the number of guests. You’re constantly bumping into other people. The staff work hard and efficiently, but it’s clear the facilities are simply too small for the hotel’s capacity. The lifts are another major issue, with long waits throughout the day. The hotel also seems to have agreements with airlines and cruise companies, so large groups arrive at the same time, making the common areas even more crowded. If you try to use the stairs instead, you’ll often find the doors locked. The spa is also much too small for a hotel of this size. It was consistently overcrowded, with children occupying most of the facilities, even during the adults-only hours. The atmosphere is another downside. It contrasts sharply with the peaceful character of the city. At night, loud music fills the hotel when all you want after a day of sightseeing is somewhere quiet to relax. The room was small, with no wardrobe and very little space to store your belongings. It was filled with decorative items that try to create a cosy feel but end up taking away valuable space. Housekeeping could also be improved. There are very few places to sit in the lobby, making it feel uncomfortable, and the entrance feels more like you’re walking into a shopping centre than a hotel. The location is convenient, with good transport links and easy access to the main tourist attracti

The Hub is an incredibly well located hotel. The tram/train station is literally across the street. Shopping surrounds it. There are restaurants and eateries at all prices available. Staff are wonderfully helpful. If you ask for assistance, it is immediately available. Amenities are pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. If you want a shower cap, a vanity kit or anything else, you have to ask at the front desk. No AC but the windows open. If the windows are open, the ventilation system stops working. Our room was a bit stuffy and the bathroom had a musty odor. Again, no fan in the bathroom. We were there for 3 nights. The bed and pillows and duvet were excellent. Oh, the breakfast buffet is amazing. Very attentive to food allergies and a huge variety of food. The natural yogurt is superb. Coffee is delicious and hot. Can’t beat the location and service!

Overall a decent hotel. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast is very good and the rooftop restaurant is excellent. We did have a couple of maintenance issues in our family room with a blocked sink and then a broken toilet which meant we had to move rooms midway through our stay. The only thing I did not like was at first the hotel tried to get us to move from a family delux room to a twin room with two single beds. That is not acceptable for 2 adults and a child. This was resolved satisfactorily in the end but could have been handled better. Still overall a nice hotel in a convenient central location.

Stayed 2 nights . Nice hotel right next to train station handy for airport train . Unfortunately found bed uncomfortable and pillows were probably the worst I’ve had in a long time . Also there was night construction which we heard from the 12 floor both nights so earplugs required Liked location close walking for so much .
