Comfort Hotel Xpress Tromso

Great place to spend a quick overnight.

My sister and I asked for a ground floor room as we have mobility issues. This was on the corridor off the main reception/lounge/snack area. The Comfort Hotel was perfect for us, offering everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Comfy bed, tasty snacks, hot and cold drinks in bar area, breakfast pastries, access to a kettle for a hot drink, although coffee was available to buy. A very friendly little hotel in the heart of Tromso - small, cosy, friendly - it’s a winner!

Brilliantly located, very close to main things in town and easy to get to transport, sightseeing and excursions. It’s a budget hotel, which is exactly what I needed. The room was basic but extremely comfortable and all I needed. I stayed across the road many years ago and the noise from the nightclub on the ground floor was deafening at night. No such problems here. It was quiet and very comfortable which was excellent when coming back from a long day out and about. Check in and out was easy (self-service) and the staff at the Bareception were helpful. Housekeeping was meant to be every four days, but they never came in my six day stay. Didn’t bother me though as I’m pretty tidy anyway, and I think would’ve been addressed if I’d asked. Overall, I’d highly recommend the Comfort Hotel Xpress in Tromsø. Fantastic option when travelling on a budget! Would definitely stay again.

I liked what I paid for - my expectations were not high and I thought it was great value. Small rooms, suited me.

Hands down the best budget friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing staff and I've never slept better. Thank you for a wonderful stay I will see you again 😁

Booked this hotel as it was the most budget-friendly. The room (standard double) was very small and dark and the bed was small and uncomfortable. We didn’t spend much time there as we were often out and about, so ideal for a place to stay, but not the most comfortable. Location is great with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

Friendly staff and well greeting. Location is good and easy to walk around. Definitely going back again 😊

Basic but good value for money

This was our second stay, and it felt just as great as the first. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We requested the same room as our previous visit because of the amazing view, and they managed it to our request! We booked a standard room, which was more spacious than a typical moderate room. It was well-maintained, clean, and featured a firm yet comfortable bed with a warm blanket. They also had handy amenities like a microwave, hot water, and paper cups at reception for guests to use. The location was super convenient—just a 5-minute walk to a supermarket, 1-2 minutes to the airport express bus stop, and only a short walk to downtown. Our second stay was just as great as the first, and we’d definitely come back again!

Great no frills budget hotel that is close to everything. Friendly staff and it has everything you need and its clean.

Perfect location, great price and very clean!

The hotel was close to everything including shopping, food and our planned activities. We felt safe there. On the other hand we were there 6 nights and not once did they clean our room or offer clean towels. We could have used a floor cleaning after tracking in snow and dirt from outside. The room was ok but very small for 2 people with arctic gear for 6 nights. Although the booking said breakfast was included, it was not. Everything needed to be paid for, even coffee.

Excellent hotel , check in and check out very easy , hotel was spotlessly clean , rooms were immaculate, I thought they were a very decent size , the hot water and microwave were a handy and nice touch .the only thing we could recommend as a possible improvement would be a mini fridge in the room but overall our stay at this hotel was 10 put of 10
