Hotel was great as expected and hotel in a handy location, with parking available underneath the hotel with lift access straight up to the room. Food was good and service was also very good. Although I had a small incident

We had a great stay with the family. The rooms were really clean. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The Pool and Spa facilities were great as well and with a 5 year old who loves swimming this was well used by us. Only one slight feedback was the pillows were a bit too soft but everything else was great. In one of the rooms the air con wasn't working but we were given an oil heater, fans and even the option to change rooms but the heater and fans were more than enough.

Lovely hotel and great amenities and staff, Holly in particular on reception was excellent. Only small niggle was that there wasn’t a fridge in the room.

I booked this hotel because of its pool, so I could swim whilst away from home. When I checked in I was informed the pool was closed. No advanced warning, no apology, no offer to use another hotel's pool. Room was okay, very basic, sachets of cheap instant coffee and a couple of teabags, no snacks or even water. Probably not the hotel's fault but the whole place was evacuated because of a fire alarm and we had to stand on the corner of a freezing cold windy street whilst the fire engines came and went one evening. Again, no apology. I came back from my conference exhausted, made my way to my hotel room to find the key didn't work, had to go back to the lobby and join an extensively long queue to have my key reactivated. Again, no apology, just a barrage of questions from a young woman who clearly thought I looked like some sort of criminal trying to break into my own hotel room, in my smart conference wear, and quizzed me relentlessly before she sneered at me and reactivated it without apology. If the staff learned to apologise for the errors that impact guests' stays, they'd land a lot easier. But this was a catalogue of errors dealt with by utterly miserable staff who haven't learned the word 'sorry' No idea what the breakfast was like as apparently it wasn't included.

The staff on reception was friendly but food not state which floor our room was on. There wasn’t a welcome pack in the room so we had no idea when breakfast was. How to operate the heater/air conditioning. Tv The room was clean but basic. For a king size room I was not impressed. The bed moved when you sat on it. That was awful! The shower room was small. The air conditioning in the shower room didn’t work, Everything got moist with the steam. The coffee and tea provided in the room was foul. The parking is under the hotel. £18 a day paid in advance although we left by 8 a.m on the third day. The lift service can be accessed from the car park giving access to all floors. Ideal for easy access to the hotel. The hotel restaurant has excellent staff and chefs. The breakfast was buffet or you could order from the à la carte menu at extra cost. I have lactose intolerance and they catered to my needs in a friendly efficient manner. That was the highlight of the stay. I have stayed in the hotel a couple of times . On this occasion I am considering perhaps I should find another hotel for my next stay in Glasgow.

The room was generally clean and the staff were polite, which I appreciated. However, the bathroom facilities were not suitable for the room(king one bedroom suite with lounge access) toilet felt inappropriate for the space, and the shower was too small, making it uncomfortable to use. This affected the overall experience and could definitely be improved.
