Can’t comment on breakfast as we never had it, hotel was lovely, clean and warm. Staff were very helpful and the children loved the warm cookies, we enjoyed the pool. Overall a great stay as always.

During my check-in on the first day, my reservation could not be found in the system. As a result, I was asked to wait in the lobby for approximately 30–40 minutes until the issue was resolved. After that, £1.01 was charged to my card as a verification transaction for security purposes, as my card details were required. I understand this procedure. I also paid £34 for parking at reception. I was informed by the receptionist that £16 of this amount would be refunded to me. However, the following day, no refund was processed. Instead, I was offered complimentary items as a goodwill gesture. I agreed to receive four cookies and coffee instead of the £16 refund.

The moment I stepped into my room, I was hit with the smell of mold—like the smell of a towel that hasn’t dried properly. It only got worse whenever I took a shower. Also I spotted a bug crawling on the ceiling. On top of all that, there was construction happening in the building that was pretty disruptive. Overall, I’d suggest skipping this hotel. There are many others in the area if you’re going for proximity to the city center.

when we arrived we were given a room with 2xqueen beds and baby cot set up. This was odd as I had not booked this - and we didn't have a baby. I queried the room and someone came to remove it but it turns out that there was also no hotwater in the shower. We tried the following morning and the afternoon but we could not get any warm water for either shower. It was sort of fixed for the final morning we were there - but I would noot say it was hot.

Room was not clean with mould on shower roof and found a cigarette packet on bedroom floor with questionable contents. Handed to reception who were not overally concetned. Huge crack in walls.
