Enjoyed our stay and meal in restaurant

Friendly staff and so quiet and peaceful!

Staff were great on arrival only 1 lift working Breakfast buffet refill was slow and coffee machine was faulty leaking

Great location, excellent food and attentive staff.

Specifically booked this hotel for location and leisure facilities. The staff throughout the different departments (reception, leisure, food, house keeping etc) were all excellent, very friendly, welcoming and approachable, definitely a 10/10 for service. Our room was nice and clean, however our AC wasn't working (in fairness to the hotel we didn't bother reporting as we were out most of the time). The main portion of the room was clean (bathroom, beds, amenities etc) however the walls were a bit grubby - either a quick wipe down or fresh lick of paint would solve that. Leisure facilities and pool area was really nice and clean. Both the breakfast and dinner we had was really good, I thought it was a good and varied selection and I really enjoyed my food.

Fint hotel af udseende men den daglige rengøring var yderst mangelfuld. De redte faktisk kun sengen og satte nye kopper. De glemte at lave refill og at skifte krus på badeværelset. Morgenmaden var yderst mangelfuld da der hele tiden manglede mad eller service. Og hvorfor man skal vises hen til et bord ved morgenbordet forstår jeg ikke forsi man stod i jø meget længe.

Spa facilities poor or not in working order and very run down When highlighting to staff there was no concern shown almost felt like it was no surprise so just dismissed

Very busy and waiting for lift took longer than expected. Pool was very busy and water too warm. Everything was very clean and staff friendly and helpful.

In the showers in the men’s lockers at the swimming I’ve cut my toe 2x on something on the floor

Main problem was the heating it was not working.it was a cold day and the room was cold. After a long trip to Glasgow we just wanted to be warm and cosy. Someone brought a small radiator up, which didn’t really heat the large room we had.

Hotel nice, bar and restraunts had staffing issues so long wait for food and drinks! Food overpriced and not great! 1st day of breakfast not good, lots of empty food bowls on hot plate and asked for 2x fried eggs which we didnt get, waiter obviously forgot! Lovely hotel but not great service!

Decent hotel, a little noisy during the night on weekends. Pool/hot tub are extremely busy. Breakfast buffet is good.

Had a lovely overnight with my granddaughter for part of her 13th birthday

In general the hotel is fine, however it's lacking the final touch. Room in a noisy area ie beside the entrance door to your room. Breakfast, the girl showing us to the table good do with some happy pills. Outside side door was left open due to luggage being issued out to a bus ( door was open for at least 30 mins) did flag it up early to the catering cleaning staff guy and least he came back saying its left open because of luggage, still not closed. At least it's our first (hopefully last) time eating breakfast with our winter jackets on.

No fridge in the room, for store formula/milk and baby food for infants

Lovely hotel.

We had a comfortable stay but I have to admit I was disappointed. The entrance and communal areas of the hotel are modern and fresh and well kept. However our room felt like it needed an upgrade and some TLC. We had a rip in our sofa, very worn and bubbled carpets, lifting in places and some bumps, scraps and peeling paint. Our shower over the bath was adequate but very narrow. We felt there were some things missing that would have made our room more comfortable, like bottled water and/or a fridge. The attachment to our hairdryer was broken and wouldn't fit. My daughter also fell off the sofa as the cushions hadn't been attached properly after it being used as a bed by previous guests. We specifically booked here as there was a pool and few city centre hotels offer this. Again the pool was fine and we enjoyed our swim, however it needs updating and repairs to tiles and underwater lightening fixed, cables surely should not be left floating near the main steps to the pool. Overall our stay was clean and comfortable but we will be staying elsewhere on our next visit to Glasgow as there are better spec hotels available at a similar price point.
