The staff were amazing after coming off night shift and not well and got me early check-in , was able to have an awesome sleep before driving home the following morning. Excellent customer service and really appreciated the staff going above n beyond.

Nothing good about this place, no WiFi, rooms hard to fine. Doors hard to open, still have lock and keys in this day and age of keyless technology, have to carry a bundle of keys just to get to your room.

The location is reasonably convenient, and it was a cheap option for late booking for a 2-night stay on a busy weekend. The property and rooms are pretty old - they do not look as new as the nice photos you see here. If you have a room on the street side, you will have quite a lot of road noise and light at night so bring earplugs and an eye mask.
If you arrive mid-afternoon outside of the hours that the reception is staffed then you will receive an email with the security code to retrieve your key, but you will not receive WIFI password details and the information is not provided in the check-in details or on the in-room information sheet. So, if you desire WIFI access, you will need to be around when they are. Also, if you are planning to leave your bags at the property on your last day... you will need to make sure you are back by early afternoon before reception closes to access your bags.

Staff a very friendly at check in on arrival. Wi-Fi is not up to standard. Some of us stay there for work and do need Wi-Fi to do work. Don't leave food out of the fridge found some baby cockroaches in my room last time I stayed there. I do like the hotel just need little more upgrade on Wi-fi.

The spa bath was good but mist other things weren't great. On cecking tensils first breakfast, was really under equipped, not even the basics. Got them delivered but after breakfast the next day. Should have been there to start.

No working tv, noisy air con and no way to turn it off. Cockroaches galore. Shower was great and it was spacious. Also lots of kitchen facilities. Needs a bug clean up and update in pretty much everything. Don’t like not having human contact on arrival.

I was a late check in so didn’t really deal with any staff. Although I was emailed the details of how to collect my key out of hours. Room was ok, but didn’t have power points next to the bed, which is normally to be expected these days. Not too far from Cairns cbd, which is convenient

The cleanliness need to be improved. Found long hair in the shower on the floor. Vent was full of dust. Curtain right next to the bed had food on it that wasn't cleaned off. A towel left from previous guest left outside on the chair that was used to sit on.

This room was very basic but could have done the job if (I’m guessing) the maintenance staff weren’t banging, yelling abuse, coming and going constantly, entertaining, and get drunk or off their face on drugs in their area right next to the room we were allocated at all hours of the night
No other staff on site at night
Not a wink of sleep for us and an earlier flight… do not recommend, things need to change!
