I am glad to have chosen Citadines on Bourke Melbourne. I've had previous experience staying with Citadines in Cebu and I took the chance of booking with them in Melbourne. The location was awesome! A tram station stop right outside you! It made going around so easy. We were in the CBD area but it never felt loud or crowded. So many shopping and dining options around the area. Staff were nice and friendly. Rooms were huge, clean and complete with extra amenities. Thank you Citadines for the 2 weeks experience!

Staff are wonderful and v accommodating. The room is large, there’s s a great kitchenette including dishwasher. Bed v comfy. Wifi strong. Elevators quick. Location fantastic. Walkable to everything and the tram right at the front of the hotel. I didn’t use the pool or gym but great to have them

Booked here for the indoor pool but it was on restricted hours due to renovations, which meant I did not use the pool.
Unable to reach the hotel by phone. It was on a loop to the answer phone. Consequently, without instructions, it took a bit of finding, on foot, in the rain. However, once at the hotel I found the staff friendly and helpful. The bed and room were comfortable with good facilities.

I stayed at the hotel during a business trip and brought my family along. We booked two rooms and requested that they be on the same floor and close to each other. I was told this couldn’t be guaranteed, but they would try their best. I even upgraded one of the rooms to improve the chances, but unfortunately, the rooms ended up on different floors. This made things very difficult, and I had to sleep on the couch to stay with my children.
One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for the swimming pool, so my boys could enjoy it while I was in meetings. However, the pool was only open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, which overlaps with dinner and our usual time out, so we weren’t able to use it at all. This limited availability should be clearly mentioned on the website.
The rooms themselves were fine, and the location is very good. However, the staff could have been more attentive and helpful, especially when it came to accommodating families and handling room arrangements. A more solution-oriented approach would have made a big difference in our overall experience.

The location is great but the rooms are a bit tired. I wonder if as a person that has booked through hotels.com, we are issued the rooms that are bit less enticing. Comfortable enough but they don't look quite as enticing as the photos suggest. They also got our booking wrong. We had six rooms booked - one of which was a twin and the rest were kings. Unfortunately, they got it the other way around and made five of them twins. They did then change them all but it was inconvenient and time-consuming when we arrived which was quite late. And they seemed to think that we had gotten it wrong and asked for the wrong thing - which we didn't. All of us had followed their pre-check-in instructions, which they sent us via email. Not sure what the point of the pre-check in was for - it made no difference when we arrived. These all had the type of room we were booked in for. We also had to wait at the door for a while before anyone let us in. Arriving after hours and nobody responded for quite some time - we were beginning to wonder if we were going to get in at all.
