Great location- literally next door to Vienna Hauptbahnhof. It would be nice to have a welcome pack of coffee, tea. & milk pods - but hey, all really good. Air con? Might need it in Vienna in Midsummer - but not need early June so didn’t miss. Would pay to consider though. I will definitely book again - bring my own coffee/ milk & stick to not July/ August

It is placed 3 min walk from/to Wien HBF, which is very comfortable, especially if you want to get to the airport. The place itself is nothing fancy, and the rooms were small, but it was clean, and the bed was also comfortable.
The Laundry is in the basement, I checked it and I decided I can wait to go home and do my laundry. The vibe of the whole place was like a nice university dorm.

Place is very convenient from the central train station. The room can be hot at times and you inky have a tower fan. You will be forced to sleep with the window open, however, it is so awkward to sleep when there’s an office building across the street who can see you sleeping.

The room was right next to the station, good amenities with fridge and hot plate. Unfortunately, there was no air-conditioning except for a small portable fan which couldn't go anywhere near the bed. The weather was only 21 degrees but the room would have been close to 30 degrees and impossible to cool down so sleep was impossible

Our room featured a kitchenette with a microwave, induction stove, sink, dishwasher, small fridge, and a coffee machine; however, coffee supplies were not provided. The two things we disliked most about this hotel were the total lack of staff—even for check-in—and the extra charge for room cleaning.

The Smartments room was very clean and well stocked with dishes and cookware. Very close to public transportation and the Vienna Central Station. Conveniently located to shopping and great restaurants. Super comfortable and a great value for the price!

This place is the perfect spot if you are traveling around Vienna. Literally on the doorstep of the central train station and next to a main underground station and tram stop. There is a Lidl and Aldi nearby so perfect if you want to grab some food in. There was a small kitchenette which included a hob, microwave, toaster, fridge, sink and dishwasher.
The shower was nice and powerful so 10/10 there. The bed wasn't that comfortable but I have slept in worse beds. The only downside to the room was there was no Aircon and it got very stuffy in the room. You can open the window wide but we were on the ground floor and didn't feel safe doing so at night. The hotel also didn't offer fans.
Contact with the host was quick and easy, however when I asked a question early one morning they got back to me a minute later, so I believe this was AI. There were staff on the desk but that was only for select times Monday - Friday, so we didn't speak to anyone whilst checking in or out.
The room was also only cleaned once during the week we stayed there, which we didn't mind but may be a pain if staying longer than a week.
Overall, I think this place was perfect for a trip to Vienna and I would stay here again.

I've stayed here many times over the years and every trip has been excellent. It's very secure, very clean, very well situated (next to the main train station and, therefore handy for buses, trains and the underground).....and all this for an extremely reasonable price. I now never think to stay anywhere else when I visit Vienna
