This resort was incredible. The food was great, the drinks were great, the service was great, the beach was great, and pools were great. Just a whole bunch of great. Only thing I found a bit lacking were the shows. I found them to be a little low budget, and not super interesting. However, they did do a Micheal Jackson show that I REALLY enjoyed, so this issue could come down to just a personal preference thing. I had a super relaxing time, and would recommend this resort to anyone looking to spend a vacation doing nothing but relax.

Property was amazing and clean. Very long walks to and from your room but the beach makes up for it. Great staff too!

Our overall experience was a mixed experience. On the positive side the rooms were clean and well-maintained and the overall grounds were beautifully landscaped and tidy. The dinning experience was a mixed review, the buffet was a typical all-inclusive buffet. It had a wide range of options to choose find and found the food to be average.

Prepare to walk and walk if you want to stay here. The check in process took 2 hours even though there are only 6 families in front of me with 3 people working. So it takes 1 hour to check in per family? They are slow. They are also rude. I was confused with how huge the property is. I asked for directions and they only say go that way and everything else is I don’t know. Good luck getting reservations at restaurants. You need to book days in advance. The buffet is huge with nice display but that’s about it, the food is horrible. The distance from the beach to the very small water park is a 20 minutes walk. You need to have card for beach towels. The hotel is dark and gloomy. We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva and service over there is 5 stars. They greet you with a smile and hello each time you walk by. The property there is spotless. They wait on you hands and foot. The food at the Hyatt are also excellent. Lopesan’s beach has seaweed and not very clean.

Lopesean was pretty average. I had a great time because I was on vacation with family but staff did not go out of their way at all to ensure we had a good time. The food at the restaurants was amazing, it was on par with a fancy restaurant in NYC. The drinks and the selection were all disgusting except at the restaurants. With the price paid at Lopesean I could have gone back to XCaret in Mexico or Grand Palladium in Jamaica and everything is top tier there for the same price.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Lopesan. The dining/wait staff were fantastic. The check-in process was easy. We were immediately greeted at the door and offered a welcome glass of champagne. The desks were well labeled and there was a sign for Expedia bookings. The property grounds are stunning and immaculate. The beach is beautiful, but it's unfortunate that their section of the beach is surrounded by boats. There were some occasions where you would smell the gasoline from them, but it wasn't all the time. I enjoyed walking down the beach near other condos/resorts where it was less busy and you get a beautiful view of the ocean. While the drinks were good, I wish there was some variation among the posted drink menus among the bars. The drinks were the same wherever you went. Besides that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One piece of feedback I'd give to the resort is to have more shower towels available. We booked 2 adults and a child, but were only given 2 towels. Our child still showers and needed a towel, but we had to call down for extras.

There is no sense of urgency from staff also food is very subpar. Not worth it in my opinion. But the actual resort property itself is beautiful! Drinks are hit and miss, best food we had was the habachi. All restaurants were booked up because, you can’t book u til you are on the actually checked in. Check-in wait was long, it was very hot in there, but the actual check in was quick. Room smelled like mold from all the humidity. Sheets felt damp. The beach was not really fun to be on as you could smell the fumes from all the boats on the shore, and could smell some all the way to the pool.

first of all the check in was horrible, they asked me to check in online and then when we got there they said we have to do it in person, a lot waste of time.

We went with a group of about 35 people. This resort is beautiful. Wonderful people, views, location. Everything is done well - except the food. The worst resort food and options that I have ever experienced. You can't book reservations until you check in and then the restaurants were all booked up. So you are stuck at the buffet which is subpar camp food. There are no options for food allergies. All food at all restaurants was mediocre at best. There were days we barely ate. Everything else tho - fantastic! So bring some snacks and enjoy!

Loved the property, infinity pool, the entertainment group. The place has exquisite scenery with tall palm trees very well groomed. Beautiful lighting in the night. The food at the buffets was very good, with lots of options. The ocean was not appealing as it had lots of seeweeds, so we stayed only at the pool.

Perfect when traveling with kids because of their amenities. The only bad thing about this resort is their employees, they don't look happy to be there, mostly if they see that you are Dominican.

Beautiful property, many amenities, very clean, and staff was amazing

The physical plant was excellent. The staff was excellent. The food was excellent. The buffet was very small for such a large hotel. There was little variety in the buffet.

The place is beautiful, but I think it be a little maintenance and the and food it was OK for my opinion I don’t liked, the people and the Service they were good and I would strongly recommend the Spa.

Very good for kids plus adults

The property was beautiful. Just be prepapred to walk because it is HUGE! Bell hop said there's 1044 rooms. Our room was beautiful. We had the swim up pool and it didn't disappoint. The resort had so much stuff to do. The beach was clean and the main pool was huge. This place is definitely recommended for adults amd children. Would love to stay again.
