I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel, Lopesan Bavaro and I must say everything was amazing! The atmosphere was stunning, and the attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
A special shout-out to our private concierge, Jimmy. He was exceptional—efficient and always ready to assist with all our needs. His recommendations and support made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic getaway!

Property was beautiful, but service was lacking. Food was mediocre. Drinks were great. I was charged for the wine bottle that I did not drink in front desk was not helpful to remove the charges. We also requested rooms next to each other since we are family together, traveling, and front desk was not accommodating any request. We had a concierge service with Jimmy. He was great.

The first room i was given had roaches . The second room i still found a roach in the shower, and i had to keep killing drain flies. They need to spray thoes rooms and pour bleach in the drains. That resort is too much money to have those types of issues.

The food was overly salty for the most part. In addition, the sheets and towels were not changed daily—I had to specifically request it. My son even woke up with a spider bite on his leg during our stay. On the positive side, the service was good and the place itself was nice.

Severely understaffed . You can tell management is the problem here with not having adequate amount of staffing .please hire more people . Also the rooms have a lot work that needs to be done. Mold in the lamps
And bathroom etc.

Lopesan was filled with family activities by the pool. The rooms were very clean and the property was well maintained. The food was good with a lot of choice. Be sure to make reservations for restaurants beforehand on their app. The only thing is I have kids who enjoy snacks. We received snacks (chips, peanuts etc) in the room on the first day but they said I needed to be a unique member to continue to receive them. Other hotels that I have stayed at in the Dominican Republic offer snacks to all! Don’t go to the Dominican Republic in August if you are a beach lover (it is seaweed season).
