The Lopesan has amazing food and service!

The hotel is a beautiful huge property. Very clean. Food is great. All of the amenities are excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean. My only complaint is that I upgraded to the VIP Unique package and I was not told of all of the perks that come with this package besides the private pools that we have access to as a VIP unique holder during the stay. The package includes a free 45 minute hydrotherapy massage that wasn’t mentioned at all to me or any of my other friends who also had the VIP unique package. Through reading about the perks on google is how I found out and confirmed with them during my stay. The VIP package cones with a butler and I was never offered someone coming to my room to get my bags when I was leaving the resort. Other than that I had a great stay. The VIP package comes with complimentary chocolate tray, fruit tray and two Barcelo Añejo Rum bottles, as well as snacks brought to your room daily. The VIP restaurant serves better quality food than the buffet restaurant available for everyone in the hotel. I ate at both multiple times and the food was great at both. The unique restaurant did have options that the regular restaurant did not- lobster and whole fried fish as well as dome other things. Overall great experience. I loved that if you wanted a more fun vibe the main pool who everyone has access too is a great pool for that. As VIP unique member if you wanted a more chill relaxed calm vibe using the Unique pools will give you just that. Great stay!

Great property with alot of amenities and great service.

Omg from the moment I walk in to the main lobby the greeting from the staff was amazing. They offer me champagne and my room wasn't ready yet and already had access to food and drinks. Everyday it was a party on the resort. I love the club the first night. Afterwards it was the same music but the drinks was good. The pool bar buffet food was so good I sat in the rain still eating my food. I will visit again. My room was beautiful-5 stars room. Thanks again for the beautiful time at your resort.

Great property !! Huge and lot to do without getting bored ! Amazing staff and very clean resort ! Huge pool and many of them including a water park for kids and which is very fun! Food was great and easy to book restaurants ! Bathrooms not very private inside the rooms and they need to update the electric outlets in the rooms but despite that it was an excellent stay!

Overall beautiful property- need to have door for bathroom since it is up front and just outside main entrance door.

Great place to visit

Everyone there was nice and welcomed. The whole staff was polite and I had an amazing time with my family. We booked an explosions which is a must. The whole facility is like a maze. Honestly to get around it is so big. Be aware at the beach. There is people there trying to scam you with trying to take a picture of you with a parakeets. The sumer time has a lot of seaweed at the beach. But the whole facility is five stars

Overall a great place to stay

While hotel was beautiful with an open concept designand energy-saving (ambientlighting) they had no Ac or fan outside the rooms or shared space. AC was control from Mexico. They should have fans in the open areas where they do activities. We visit the theater for one night function and there was no Ac until almost end of show. Ridiculous. If you know you booked 4 guests why only give 2 towels, then you need to request more. We booked several room since we were 5 family with same issues. Buffet Food was good, but was same every day.

Beautiful Resort, but Birthday Surprise Fell Short We stayed at Lopesan Resort from 8/8 to 8/12/25 and overall had a great experience—beautiful property, excellent ambiance, and some truly delicious meals at the French and Italian restaurants. The décor and grounds are stunning—10/10 for design and atmosphere. That said, our birthday celebration plans were a disappointment. On 8/3, I ordered and paid for a cake (dulce de leche with vanilla cream) to be delivered to our room on 8/11 at 2pm for my fiancée’s birthday, along with a “Happy Birthday” sash for our door when we arrived. I reconfirmed everything the day before, and they assured me it was set. Unfortunately, the sash was never placed on our door. I waited in our room for over an hour for the cake delivery that never came. When I went to reception, I was told to come back later to speak to the person I’d ordered with. I was then informed the cake would be served at our 7pm dinner reservation—something I was never told beforehand, and which contradicted my original 2pm delivery request. In the end, the cake served at dinner was chocolate—which my fiancée doesn’t eat—instead of what I ordered. While we appreciated the gesture, it wasn’t the surprise I had planned. Food: Overall 6/10. The French and Italian restaurants were standouts with delicious, hot dishes. Many other meals across the property were lukewarm at best. Ambiance & Décor: 10/10. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, well-kept, and perfect for photos.
