Easy central location very quiet

A nice clean hotel, breakfast ok but nothing to write home about. Expensive at £104 for one Tuesday night in May

Excellent Stay in a Great Location I was really pleased with my stay at this well-run hotel. The location was excellent, and the room was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did a fantastic job throughout our visit. Breakfast was exceptional—fresh, varied, and something we looked forward to every morning. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the dining room was always clean and well-organized. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Great location.... everything within walking distance, especially train station. Staff very friendly and helpful...allowed us to check on early. Breakfast good with plenty choice. Rooms looking a little tired , carpet looking worn and stained. Would stay again due to location.

The property is generally now a bit dated in communal spaces but rooms are fine. Street-facing rooms can be noisy when pubs outside kick out.

Hotel was nice. Breakfast was plentiful and well received. We had a nice large twin room. Only disappointment was the bathroom was really smelly. Some kind of drain issue. We just kept the door shut and it was fine. Good value for what we paid

We arrived at Newcastle Central train station around 11:30am. The hotel is over the road so we thought we'd drop our bags. So we went in and the lady confirmed our booking and room 718 for later then stored our bags. We came back at 3pm for check-in and the gentleman took a room card from and envelope and disposed of it and spent a few minutes typing away. Then said room 536, I said no were in 718 it's already confirmed. It's the front corner room top floor. He then spent a long few minutes trying to get us back into our original room. Finally we got our room and headed up, only one lift as maintenance being carried out on one. Got to our room and it's lovely size and views are amazing over the station and can see for miles. However there are children's handprints on the windows. Then we noticed something splattered on the wall under the window next to the bed and cod webs around the coving and top of the window. I filled in a "how was your welcome" email and within 20mins or so I'd had a call from reception to try sort any problems and 30mins after was offered a VIP clean. I turned these down as I had things in the room and I wasn't present. The hotel as with other Hamptons was great with good food for breakfast and most of the staff been really friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and hopefully I won't have any of the issues next time. I will say Hilton did everything they could to rectify any problems quickly and efficiently.

Fab hotel, great location opposite train station but quiet at night. Only issue was I booked a twin room but was given a queen with sofa bed and the sofa bed was really uncomfortable for my daughter. That was the only problem. Everything else was really good
