This is an excellent hotel in all aspects. It is right across the street from the Newcastle train and metro station, which gives easy access to many beautiful places near Newcastle (e.g., Tynemouth, Durham, etc.). The room was spacious, conveniently designed, and clean. The staff was helpful and professional. The hot breakfast was also a good way to start the day. I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed at a variety of hotels. This is one of the most comfortable hotels I would recommend. It is even better than its parent, Hilton.

The room was lovely and cool on a hot trip. very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental and cooked, lots of options, time it well though or the bacon's all gone 😀. lovely bathroom with walk in shower. Only thing was I was a solo traveller but the room I was in had a connecting door to the room next door. was a bit unnerving but wasn't an issue I the end. maybe a consideration if hotel aware you are solo travelling. 4.9 outta 5 really, will use on next visit.

Very helpful and welcoming staff (a credit to your hotel) but was a bit disappointed with breakfast. Not a great selection of chopped fruit (just peaches one morning) and only egg was a kind of overcooked omelette!

The Hampton at Newcastle is literally across the road from the main train Station and Metro, so that is a big bonus. The Hotel Room was very good and tea/coffee facilities in room. Staff were most helpful and very pleasant. Idea and no complaints.

Generally a nice hotel, good location and facilities. However, member of staff came banging on the door at 11 saying in a patronising tone that we were late checking out and did we require a late check out despite our confirmation and all subsequent booking info and the check in staff telling us it was 12....... Liked the hotel but this meant we left in a rush

Bathroom was terrible toilet didn’t flush sink didn’t drain and shower fitted with seat that didn’t fold up so made things difficult Booked ‘queen room ‘ thinking queen sized bed WRONG normal sized bed Breakfast was a free for all which was manic
