ibis budget Birmingham Centre

Rooms were very clean and better than I expected. The only downside for us was no tea or coffee in our room and that was disappointing but overall great place and stay and would stay again but a room with tea and coffee ☺️

Overall a poor stay. I wouldn’t recommend.

Had a really good stay. My only thing was the room was very small and had to squeeze by the bottom of the bed and the wall where the the TV was. There were also no coffee making facilities. It would've been nice to able to make a coffee when I woke up but except for that it was a great stay

Hotel was clean close to china town so good for a Chinese meal lol 10 min walk to centre 15 mins from station not too bad

Really good standard of cleanliness, cosy and very quiet room but the outstanding feature was how lovely,helpful and friendly the staff were. Close to New street railway station and Bullring for shopping. I would certainly recommend it

Cheap, very cheap except the price.

Quite disappointing stay. The facilities are very dated and the lift very creaky. One of the lifts (the left one) felt like your foot was going to go through the floor. Bed was like lying in cement and the pillows paper thin. Tv was small and dark. Room ventilation did nothing.. was very cold. The receptionist, Steve, was on his phone on Grindr most of the time we interacted. When he wasn’t on his phone he had all these receipts on the table and said the books hadn’t balanced that night so he was annoyed. Seemed like it would’ve been a better job to complete out of customer view. Breakfast was a mini croissant and some sliced cheese that looked like it had been out a while. The “yoghurt” looked like feta cheese and was not appetising at all. Very disappointing stay to be fair. No welcoming spirit from any of the night staff. The gents in the morning shift were a lot more friendlier. I knew it was a budget hotel , but the place looked like it needed a clean.

It’s very clean and basic

It's looking a bit tired now. Staff were amazing, but I hardly slept because the room was so cold and there was only a summer duvet, but no blanket. I tried to follow the very clear instructions on the air handling unit, but it just seemed to recirculate the very cold air.

Rooms clean staff great

Room was clean with fresh sheets and towels. No cold water in bathroom tap and sink not great for teeth cleaning. Breakfast was not really worth what I paid for what I had but fair selection of food. Parking was limited but I found a space no problem. You may struggle with this at weekends or during holidays.

Ok should have known staying at a hotel while it was having building work done, first night very cold and put it down to complicated temperature control. But the next day when going out seeing heaters being moved out of rooms. Once I returned I sat how cold it was and was promptly given a heater room was nice a toasty. Parking, once you have a space Don't move your car or lose the space. But I was warned. It was a shame that I encountered the member of staff knew nothing about road tolls or M6 charges.
