Grand Magic Hotel Marne La Vallée

Have stayed before and love the hotel. This time however they took a deposit out of my account 2 days before I arrived! Has been refunded but never had that happen before.

Basic room and bathroom but clean. Pillows are a joke! Bar is odd - you have to que up and go to the side to get served - ie they won’t serve you from the bar stool !! Breakfast is very busy, food is ok. Staff try hard in which must be a difficult job as most people are like locusts running around the food area like a race track. Not the best experience but that’s not the hotels fault. Lights in the evening are nice so is the entertainment for children.

The stay at the hotel was lovely breakfast had a good choice the only let down for me was the carpark. I question reception the evening before i left about how to pay for parking as we were leaving 6am, the ladies was friendly but said sometimes the tickets scan sometimes it doesn’t if not come into reception to pay at the desk. I asked if I could pay at the desk instead of risking it not working she said no try it first. So when we left I did as she said it didn’t work so had to come back into reception where another couple were checking out so took me 25 minutes to pay and therefore late to leave and a stressful journey to the LeShuttle due to there being congestion. Would have been a lot better if I could have left on time.

The reception staff were very welcoming and informative, but we found the hotel in a very tired state. It has purposely been built for families and over the years has been used and abused and not updated or refreshed. Stained carpets in our room, damaged and worn doors, corridors and furniture throughout the building. Our table in the dining room had been damaged and tried to be repaired with car body filler! We were only there for 1 night and that was enough for us. The people in the room next door were constantly arguing and shouting very loudly and we could hear every word, which frightened our little one. Overall, not for us as this wasn't a cheap hotel and ment to be 4 star. Id say its more a 2 star. It depends what you want from your holiday, but we personally wouldn't book this hotel again.

Our second time staying at The Grand Magic and we absolutely loved it! Great hotel for families and excellent breakfast options

The staff were friendly, patient and helpful. Play activities for the kids, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of variety and would book here again.

Room was showing it's age but the breakfast was very good and it's proximity to Disneyland was a huge plus.

Great location close to Disney with shuttles every 15 mins! Our room could have done with a bit of a tidy up but for how much you are in the room it didnt matter too much! Food pretty average at breakfast

Great location for Disney!

This hotel was lovely, fresh bedding and towels every day. A nice continental breakfast in the morning and the bar served food until quite late which was handy and the bar alway felt very magical with the music and changing scenes that look like windows. The staff were very helpful, especially when my little girl wasn’t feeling well, they gave me directions to the nearest pharmacy (10min walk) so I could get some paracetamol. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great place, used several times, would use again

Staff were pleasant and helpful. When we checked in, our bathroom room had what appeared to be menstrual blood on the seat. Also, around 10:30 PM, a random man entered our locked room. When we asked what he wanted, he had toilet paper under his arm and offered it. Not a good experience, sadly.

Qualité du service aux tables

We stayed to go to Disney (as do most people). The hotel is a perfect location as there is a shuttle that comes every 15 minutes (more on this later). The provided breakfast buffet has everything you could possibly need. Great way to start your day. The shuttle is a bit chaotic as it stops at 4 hotels. It can show up all ready full so be prepared you could wait 15 minutes. This never happened to us but did to some guests at the hotel at the end of the line. Also, if you stay to the end at Disney be prepared to wait as it is literal madness trying to catch the bus. There is no structure to queue so people are literally pushing their way to the front. We only stayed to the end once to experience. Wrap your head around the shuttle and this hotel and location will tick all the boxes.

It was poor right from the start. Room is basic and in a poor state, I wouldn’t say it was 4* at all. Mould round the rim of the bath and cleanliness was far from what it should have been. Breakfast was basic again and lacking in taste and variety. I was most upset about our last night. My little boy took a shower to be covered in dirty water. We went to explain to reception to be told it’s fine and just to run the water a little. The bath was covered in grim and dirt and no offer to clean it for us. We went back to the room to find the water pressure had gone completely. Back down (this following a very long day and was now late), a technician was sent to our room, then told it couldn’t be fixed and we would have to move, no offer of help to relocate. Over an hour later we finally had a working shower. I asked for our last night to be refunded and was told no. They said the water despite being filthy was not harmful and that it was out of their hands. What a disgrace, hotel was poor, food poor, cleanliness poor and service was awful. Never again.

Breakfast was terrible quality and of poor value. Generally the room was clean and well designed however the bathrooms require a refurbishment. Overall I would say that this hotel is not worthy of the four star it claims, it perhaps was once a four star hotel but the gimmick of the video installation starts and ends on the ground floor. A better breakfast in a premier inn!

Good

Clean and tidy rooms and the staff were extremely helpful. Only downside was that the pool was very cold and the breakfast was extremely busy but thats understandable for the capacity of the hotel.

Nice hotel, free shuttle bus to Disney theme park is advantage

Room tired but clean. Cleaner left door open on first day when we returned. Breakfast chaotic and staff not overly friendly. Bus is a nightmare especially in the evenings on return… a safety issue I would say. Only a bar and an overpriced shop and a vending machine available. OK just to come back to rest but not much else. There is an arcade but looks old and tired. Hotel could do with a revamp but served what we needed.
