The place was beautiful. you could take the onsen for almost 24 hr. The food was very delicious. Best miso soup I had in Japan. The crab was fresh and sweet. Love this place

The room was better than the picture. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very close to Kawaguchiko Station, just 10-15min walking distance and there is free shuttle bus from hotel to pick up and drop us to Kawaguchiko Station. It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel! Love it!

The room was perfect with the view. This was our first time at a Ryokan and we were not disappointed. I don't think I have ever felt that welcomed somewhere I didn't quite fit into. Thank you all for your excellent work! 😊

The whole ryokan experience was great with only 2 things that needs to be improved. First being the in-room dinner service: the staff didn't mention that meal was being served as courses and we thought the initial portion served was the entire thing. The rice was missing so I had to check with the reception on this. It was confusing on both ends as receptionist mentioned that the staff would have informed us that dinner is served 3 courses but we were not aware. Food was great and delicious but do not expect to take your own sweet time to eat. Staff will clear it within 1 hour even if you have not finished eating. Second thing was that the bidet was not working! Receptionist was informed twice and they said they will check it out but nothing was fixed.. was honestly really disappointed in this. The payable private onsen wasn't anything spectacular, not worth the JPY 3,300 IMHO.

Enjoyed our one night stay at this Ryokan style hotel at Kawaguchiko. Staff was really helpful and very nice. The ambiance was peaceful and had the traditional Japanese aesthetic. Also got to use the on premise public onsen by myself! And our room had direct view of Mt Fuji which was awesome since we were lucky to get clear days.

Nice ryokan experience and onsen stay. We booked private time in the onsen and the public onsens were always empty when we went. The outdoor tub was my favorite and all the skincare in the bathroom felt like a wellness retreat

Wonderful stay and a unique experience. Dinner in room and breakfast in banquet hall. Traditional sleeping on tatami was surprisingly comfortable. Many staff are bilingual which made communication easy. And the hotel itself was in a quiet location overlooking the lake even though there were many tourists in the area. And a big thanks to our Nakai, Lisa who was a wonderful hostess

Staff could have taken extra effort in confirming dietary preferences, what is the point in asking and when the food served is something allergic. Air condition is centralized, cannot cool the room if the room is too warm

What an amazing traditional experience! The staff were all so kind and the presentation of the dinner/breakfast was so beautiful. Authentic food and we got to try lots of new things for the first time. Lake views were stunning and a view of Mt Fuji is available on the 7th floor if you’re lucky with the weather!
