Very clean, great location and a lovely room. Upgraded to the superior room which I think gave us a room on a higher floor with a great view of the mountains… but I’m not 100% sure. Dinner was lovely in the hotel restaurant. Staff were always busy with customers but were super friendly and helpful when serving.
The location of the hotel was ideal as it’s in the centre of town and most of the buses operate from within a 5 minute walk

This is a hotel that offers services but then severely limits access. Examples? Laundry m-f but not weekend. Beautiful sky bar open Thursday thru Sunday 5-10. Great breakfast ….after 730 am. If you want the bag option make sure you bring your own yogurt spoons as none are offered. I could continue but it’s not cultural or even brand. I have stayed elsewhere is Oslo and tromso with much better hospitality Copenhagen airport clarion has similar breakfast starting at 530. In short the grade above combines staff and service but theirs is a on site senior management problem with training and understanding customer needs. I was not alone.

Nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, it’s just fairly average. We arrived at just before 1400 and we were told there wasn’t a room and we had to come back at 1500 when check in starts. That’s fine, but I always wonder how all the rooms magically become available at 1500, and we weren’t told to have a drink in the lobby and enjoy the hotel. We got room 208 - a junior suite on the first floor - I think that’s called the Expedia punishment even though booking direct was way more expensive - and every time someone flushed the toilet above you, you would hear the water (and whatever else) rushing down…
Breakfast was pretty good though. Bed was comfy and the room was warm.

The edge was nice, staff were helpful, breakfast was good, nice view from the window. Lovely views from the rooftop bar. I did think the bathroom was too cramped, and the beds and pillows a bit soft for my liking. Overall a very pleasant stay.
