The beach is superb! We enjoyed swimming and feeding the small fish at the beach. The room and its view are gorgeous! The staff is amazing! I would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone!

We absolutely loved our stay. This is the kind of hotel-resort that has aged gracefully and we decided to keep coming back and bring our families as well! We miss it already! We stayed in the first room for half a day but it was warm. We were moved promptly after telling them it was warm and the AC could no longer make it colder. The room we moved to next was so much better. Thank you Shangri-la Mactan! You made our stay memorable!

Yes the ocean was visible from our room. Amenities were excellent, however, the staff was non friendly and not helpful. For the price of the resort I was disappointed in the resort staff. Checking in took almost 45 minutes, and all the restaurants we ate in, we could not get someone to serve us. For the money, stay elsewhere.

The hotel beach side is lovely. I love the Acqua restaurant. The food is excellent especially the breakfast buffet. It is very clean and the staff and servers were exceptional! They all are friendly and helpful. The staff in the executive lounge were also very hospitable. I cannot say the same for Tides. Tides restaurant during our Feb 14 dinner buffet was not good. The food buffet selection was awful. I see multiple empty or almost empty platters. So there’s not much to eat. We always had to wait for the back kitchen to refill the server platters. Lastly, my only complaint was the laundry charges. I had a one time laundry fill the bag for php 3500. Upon checkout the total laundry php 10323. That’s about $120 USD! I submitted this issue and no one has responded to me. It’s been over 2 weeks since we left for US
