All around amazing

Great Breakfast and great rooms. The hotel is very convenient to the train station. Word of advice, don’t exit onto market street with the stairs. Take the Waverley st exit and walk across the bridge. More direct when you have rolling luggage.

Great stay!

Room was very dated with the headboard peeling. Paint was peeling off the bathroom door and water wet the entire floor after every shower. Staff wasn’t very attentive. The location was very convenient, which is a plus.

Staff were wonderful, hotel is stunning couldn’t fault a thing. Room was very spacious, great night sleep

Fabulous hotel. Amazing location and we were lucky that our room looked out over the Royal Mile! Incredibly comfy beds, helpful staff and amazing breakfast. Only minus points would be that the headboards were a bit worn and there was no hairdryer.

The welcome felt like we were being investigated for something. She bombarded us with questions with barely a breath in-between, which would have felt more friendly if she smiled but she just looked fed-up, so it felt like an interrogation. If you're going to force staff to question guests please teach them how to be friendly, rather than them ticking a box. The lifts were the slowest I've ever experienced and the wait was longer because the cleaners were using them, so guests couldn't fit. The room was so hot - we tried to turn it down and nothing happened. We had a choice of two pillows, either too soft or too hard. I've honestly had more pleasant stays in the Travelodge.

As discussed with Enrique, the stay and the room were lovely. However Lighting wiring must have been done by a 4 year old. Zero logic. Also the water pressure was worse than a dribble.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room needs improvement, and the windows on the first floor are not soundproof. I couldn’t sleep because the outside noise was clearly audible inside the room.

The room was vastly too hot. No water provided in the room which seems a bit tight for a hotel such as this. Cups don’t fit the coffee machine and also over fill. Breakfast is insanely expensive at £25 a hear.
