During this pandemic, shankara is the best choice. It offers villa-type rooms so we can keep distance from other guests and also maintain our privacy. We enjoyed its swimming pool so much. The breakfast was also good. Within walking distance, there is bicycles rental station. We rented bicycles and hired a guide to enjoy beautiful village scenery, experienced pottery-making, and visited coconut brown sugar home-industry. So happy to meet nice people in the village. We really enjoyed our holiday in magelang at the fullest despite of the closure of Borobudur.

It is really an amazing Villa, from the moment that we arrived until the last second we enjoyed our stay. The manager of the villa is very kindfull en explained us everything about the Villa. All the facilities were very good, the swimming pool is nice and the house is so nice! We felt very grateful to stay over here! Thanks so much!

Rooms were clean and spacious. Very close to Borobudur temple. Staff were friendly. Only drawback were pay at hotel options (they didn't have any debit/credit card EDCs).

I really enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights with my mother. The room is exactly like the photos on the traveloka site, very spacious! The whole hotel and the room is super clean, the bed was very comfy, and we really enjoyed our swim on the beautiful pool, perfect for relaxing. The breakfast dishes were delicious, even more delicious than the ones we had on other places near Borobudur. Definitely will recommend this place to my friends, or whenever I'm back to Borobudur area.
