Tra Su melaleuca forest is one of the most magical destinations in all of the Mekong Delta. It is a nature lover’s dream. That’s a wonderful place to explore nature and wild birds in Mekong Delta. A motorboat takes you deeper into the forest. Then, rowboat ladies who ferry visitors through the flooded cajuput forest for about 15 minutes. Don’t forget to listen to the sound of nature, and wild birds. Go slowly to catch any perfect moment in the forest.

07:00 Our local tour guide and a driver will pick you up at your hotel and then head to Chau Doc town which is about 120km from Can Tho.

On the way, you will see a lot of beautiful rice fields, fruit, and vegetable farms.

Stop at local Chau Doc market. You will understand our traditional market culture and history. Besides that, you will know different kinds of tropical fruits and vegetables in the Mekong Delta region.

Explore a vast of beautiful sugar palm trees. It is a wonderful place to take photogenic pictures. Don’t forget to enjoy a glass of fresh sugar palm juice from the local.

Go trekking for 15 minutes to get to the bird watching tower to see the whole view of the forest and birds perching on the branches.

Enjoy authentic Vietnamese lunch in the heart of Tra Su forest

Back to Can Tho city center.
