Among transportation service providers, the Eka-Mira Autobus Company (PO) is one of the leading icons of East Java Province. Having experienced a setback in 2007 - 2008, Eka-Mira finally managed to recover in 2009 thanks to the renewal of the bus fleet which was equipped with air conditioning (AC) facilities. PO, who started his business from a fabric shop, serves intercity routes from Surabaya to several big cities in Central Java and East Java. These cities are Madiun, Solo, Yogyakarta, Magelang, Salatiga, Cilacap, Purworejo and Kebumen.

PT Eka Mira Prima Sentosa, or commonly known as PO Eka-Mira, is a provider of Inter-City Inter-Provincial (AKAP) public bus transportation services. This Autobus Company (PO) serves various routes in cities on the border of East Java and Central Java.

Looking at its history, Eka-Mira started from a fabric shop on Jl. Mojopahit No. 188, Mojokerto. In 1971, Fendi Haryanto, as the shop owner, took the initiative to build a new business engaged in mass transportation in the form of buses serving intercity routes. Initially, the business started with the name PO Flores, following the name of the fabric shop, and served the Surabaya – Solo round trip route. The Flores operation was then followed by the establishment of PO Surya Agung (AC bus) which serves the Malang – Surabaya – Ponorogo/Magetan route.

In its development, Fendi Haryanto introduced Eka-Mira as a replacement for Flores in serving the Surabaya - Solo route. The name Eka-Mira itself is inspired by the names of Fendi children. Initially, Eka-Mira was two different POs, each of which had its own management and schedule. However, in 2007, the two POs merged to become Eka-Mira as it is today.

Eka-Mira's head office is on Jl. Bhayangkara No. 63, Mojokerto. The pool itself is on Jl. Raya Gilang No. 10, Sidoarjo Park, East Java.
