PO Giri Indah began operating in the 1970s with its first route, namely Wonogiri - Sukoharjo - Solo - Semarang and vice versa. PO Giri Indah also dared to expand the route to become AKAP with the route Wonogiri - Solo - Semarang - Karawang - Jakarta and vice versa in 1982. In 1998, PO Giri Indah collapsed due to the monetary crisis and riots. However, PO Giri Indah managed to get back on its feet by buying another PO, such as the JM Solo Group.

Terms & Giri Indah Terms

• Children aged 2 years or older, or taller than 1 meter, must pay the full ticket price.
• Children aged 4 years or older must pay the full ticket price.
• Passengers are allowed to bring 2 pieces of baggage, consisting of 1 small item (eg a carry-on bag) which can be stored under the seat, and 1 additional item with a maximum size. 65 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm. These additional items will be stored in the baggage room as long as they are still available (first come first serve). If space is no longer available, luggage will be carried in the next travel vehicle.
• Passengers are prohibited from carrying items that may disturb the comfort of other passengers (eg items with strong odors, animals).
• Passengers are fully responsible for their personal belongings and Giri Indah is not responsible for lost passenger belongings.
• Giri Indah has the right to refuse passengers to board the vehicle or cancel the travel departure if necessary.
• Refunds will not be given to passengers who miss the bus due to arriving late at the departure point.
• Departure time, vehicle type and route may change at any time due to operational reasons.
• Passengers can request a refund if the traveler is more than 2 hours late. The refund process can take up to 14 working days.
• If the departure is canceled due to engine failure or other reasons, passengers will receive a 100% refund.
• If the travel vehicle experiences a technical malfunction more than 60 minutes into the journey (e.g. breaking down, AC not working), passengers will get a free voucher for one way, which can be used for the next booking.

Giri Indah Refund Regulations

• To cancel and request a ticket refund, call Giri Indah at (021) 566 1994 (Jakarta) or (0711) 446 629 (Palembang).
• Bring your KTP/SIM and Traveloka e-ticket when canceling.
• Cancellations can be made no later than 3 days before departure.
• The refund is 50% of the ticket price.
• Funds returned will be sent via bank transfer, or can be collected at the Giri Indah office.

Giri Indah Rescheduling Regulations

• To change your schedule, call Giri Indah at (021) 566 1994 (Jakarta) or (0711) 446 629 (Palembang).
• Changes to the schedule can be made no later than 1 day before departure.
• Changes can be made if the bus is still available.
• Bring your KTP/SIM and Traveloka e-ticket when changing your schedule.
• Changes to the schedule will not be charged.
