How to Get to Rajamangala National Stadium for BTS ARIRANG World Tour Bangkok 2026

BTS is bringing their ARIRANG World Tour to Bangkok on 3, 5, and 6 December 2026, with all three nights at Rajamangala National Stadium — one of Thailand's largest outdoor venues and the go-to stadium for major international concerts in the capital. The stadium holds over 49,000 people, and with three sold-out nights of ARMY descending on Bangkok's east side, planning your journey in advance is one of the most important things you can do before the show. This guide covers every transport option, the best nearby hotels, and what to expect on concert day.

Where Is Rajamangala National Stadium?

Rajamangala National Stadium is located at 286 Ramkhamhaeng Road, Hua Mak, Bang Kapi, Bangkok 10240. It sits in the eastern part of the city, roughly 12 kilometres from central Bangkok landmarks like Siam and Asok. The stadium is not directly on a BTS Skytrain or MRT line, so every route to the venue involves at least one connection — whether that is a taxi from a nearby station, a Grab from your hotel, or a canal boat to Ramkhamhaeng Road.

How to Get to Rajamangala National Stadium

By MRT Yellow Line — Hua Mak Station (Closest Rail Option)

The MRT Yellow Line opened in 2023 and brings rail access closer to the stadium than ever before. Ride to Hua Mak Station (MRT Yellow Line), then take a Grab, motorcycle taxi, or metered taxi for the remaining 10 to 15 minutes to the stadium entrance. This is the most straightforward rail option and the one most concert-goers use as a base transfer point.

From central Bangkok:

Take the MRT Blue Line to Lat Phrao Station, then transfer to the MRT Yellow Line towards Samrong and exit at Hua Mak.
Alternatively, take the BTS Skytrain to Mo Chit, exit, and connect to the MRT Yellow Line at Hua Mak direction.

The BTS Skytrain One-Day Pass is a smart buy if you plan to use public transport multiple times on concert day. You can grab one through the Traveloka Xperience and skip the queue at the station.

A second option connects the main BTS/MRT network to the Airport Rail Link (ARL). From the BTS Skytrain, ride to Phaya Thai Station and transfer to the Airport Rail Link. From the MRT Blue Line, exit at Phetchaburi Station and walk across to the ARL platform. Take the ARL to Hua Mak Station (A4), then grab a taxi or Grab for the final stretch to the stadium — about 10 to 15 minutes from the ARL station.

After the show, the wait time for post-concert Grab rides can stretch to 30 minutes or more. A good strategy: walk to a side street one or two blocks away from the main exit before requesting your ride. A night market a five-minute walk from the venue is the perfect spot to grab food and wait out the crowd before heading back.

By Canal Boat — Khlong Saen Saep

The Khlong Saen Saep canal boat is one of Bangkok's most underrated commuter options and a genuinely fun way to approach the stadium if you are staying in the Sukhumvit or Pratunam area. Take the canal boat east to Mahadthai Pier (Ramkhamhaeng University). From the pier, walk out to Ramkhamhaeng Road — the stadium is visible from the main road and a short walk or motorcycle taxi ride away. Boats run from around 5:30am to 8:30pm, so this option works for arrival but not for the return journey after a night show.

By Bus

Multiple public bus routes pass the stadium, including lines 22, 60, 71, 92, 93, 99, 109, 115, 207, 501, and 545. Buses are inexpensive but travel time on concert days is unpredictable due to traffic. This option works best for fans already familiar with Bangkok's bus network or for those travelling from nearby areas such as Ramkhamhaeng or On Nut.

Where to Stay Near Rajamangala National Stadium

Staying close to the stadium on concert nights means a short trip home after the show and no stress about last-minute transport. The Hua Mak and Ramkhamhaeng areas have a solid range of options from budget-friendly rooms to mid-range hotels, most within a 5 to 15-minute drive of the stadium entrance.

For fans flying in from outside Thailand, booking your hotel early is strongly recommended — December in Bangkok is peak travel season and rooms near the stadium sell out fast around major concert dates. Compare options and secure your hotel room through Traveloka for the best available rates.

Concert Day Tips for BTS Bangkok 2026

Arrive at least 2 hours before showtime. Gates open early and the queues for merchandise, bag checks, and entry can be long. Arriving early also gives you time to find your section without rushing.
Bring a portable charger. Between lightstick apps, fan cams, and navigation, your phone battery will take a hit. Power banks are permitted inside the venue.
Check the official bag policy before you go. Rajamangala has strict bag size restrictions for large events. Clear bags or small pouches are the safest choice.
Wear light, breathable clothing. December evenings in Bangkok are warm, and the energy inside a sold-out stadium makes it warmer still. Comfortable shoes are a must for standing sections.
Have local currency ready. Having smaller Thai baht notes speeds things up at food and merchandise stands inside and around the venue.
