When planning to visit Japan, it is best that you prepare some kind of an itinerary beforehand. Tokyo Disney Resort is a destination that you should definitely consider putting on top of your list. The resort is divided into two areas: Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. If you're pressed for time and can only choose to visit one, don't worry. We're here to help you make your decision.

Both of these places are filled with a lot of attractions, games, and parades. There are attractions available for all ages to enjoy. Here is the breakdown:

Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland is the fist Disneyland that was built outside of the USA. It has seven different areas: Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland; along with two minilands called Critter Country and Toontown

If you're a fan of Alice in the wonderland, Star Wars, Monsters, Inc., or Pirates of the Caribbean, you surely don't want to miss the fun rides available within this area. Apart from ther rides, there are also various souvenir shops, restaurants, and other suporting facilities for you to enjoy. Just make sure to stay on budget when you're visiting!

Tokyo DisneySea

DisneySea, much like Tokyo Disneyland, also offers a lot of options for you to have fun. Divided into 7 marine-themed area, DisneySea is divided into: Mediterranian Harbor, Mysterios Island, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, Lost Delta River, Port DIscovery, and American Waterfront.

Since it was opened in 2001, DisneySea has turned into the world's fifth most popular theme park. If you want to get some souvenirs to bring home, you're in luck. DisneySea is home to various interesting souvenir shops, restaurants, and other facilities.

How to Reach Them

To get to either Disneyland or DisneySea, the best option would be to take the bus or train. Here are the details:

Bus

Narita Airport: around 60-65 min.Terminal 1, bus stop no. 5.Terminal 2, bus stop no. 12.Terminal 3, bus stop no. 6.
Haneda Airport: around 45 min. International Terminal bus stop no. 5 Terminal 1, bus stop no. 6 Terminal 2, bus stop no. 6.
Shinjuku: around 50 minutes to Disneyland and 40 minutes to DisneySea. Terminal Shinjuku Express (Shinjuku Station)
Tokyo: around 35 minutes to Disneyland and 25 minutes to DisneySea. Tokyo Station Yaesu, South Exit bus stop no. 5
Yokohama: around 60 minutes to Disneyland and 50 minutes to DisneySea Yokohama Station, East Exit, Sogo Department Store Lower Level Bus Stop no. 17.
Akihabara: around 65 minutes to Disneyland and 55 minutes to DisneySea. JR Akihabara Station, Main Exit, East-Side Transportation Plaza.
