Surge in Flight Demands for 2024 Lunar New Year, Traveloka Reinforces its Commitment to Offering Travel Services through Tet Travel Super Sales

Ho Chi Minh City, January 30, 2024 - Tet Lunar New Year is not only a time for family reunions and visits; it is also an occasion for people to plan for traveling, taking advantage of the extended holiday period, along with various festivals and cultural activities held nationwide. Meanwhile, the most preferred international destinations during this period encompass Asian countries such as Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Taipei (China), and Chiang Mai.

Traveloka also observed that during the Tet Lunar New Year, travellers are inclined to seek enjoyable activities with their loved ones, such as visiting theme parks and engaging in various outdoor experiences. In 2024, the Vietnam tourism industry aims to welcome 17-18 million international visitors, serving 110 million domestic tourists, with total tourism revenue reaching approximately VND 840 trillion. Starting the year with the Tet Lunar New Year, these promotional programs by Traveloka are efforts to contribute to the promotion and stimulation of Vietnam's tourism, as well as to achieve the industry's goals.
