Bangkok, 29 June 2021 – Traveloka,Southeast Asia’s travel & lifestyle superapp, concluded its endowment activity under the “Stay Home First, Then Explore the World” campaign, with a total collected donation of 1,000 Pun Sook bags worth of 100,000 THB that is funneled to the Issarachon Foundation. Apart from instigating customers to help those who were forced to live on the streets as the impact of the pandemic, the campaign also encouraged the customers to stay at home during this unprecedented period to curb the COVID-19 spread. The donation initiative is also part of the company’s #WalkTogether Against COVID-19 program that instigates all stakeholders to join forces in an effort to weather the pandemic.
Ms. Panicha Thananaken, Country Manager of Traveloka Thailand, handed over 1,000 Pun Sook bags to Mrs. Wilaiwan Luangya, Director of the Issarachon Foundation.

In light of this, we launched the‘Stay Home First, Then Explore the World’ campaign, not only to create holiday vibes for Thai users who have been longing for travel and sightseeing while staying safe at their homes, but also create an opportunity to help the homeless affected by the pandemic so that they can feel at home again. Today, we are grateful to see the great results of this joint effort with a total of 100,000 THB generated from Flight ticket sales within a two-week period in June, which went towards 1,000 Pun Sook bags. I would like to extend my gratitude to all of our customers who take part and make a difference in this good faith initiative.”

A total of 1,000 Pun Sook bags containing essential needs such as food supplies, personal care products, medicine, and clothing will be distributed in numerous areas around Bangkok, providing an important life survival kit that hopefully can lighten the homeless’ burden of life. Together, let's continue to work together in providing valuable contributions to society and battling this pandemic.”
Partnering with Issarachon Foundation, the first batch of bags filled with essential supplies have been distributed gradually to the homeless people who have been impacted by the pandemic in some areas around Bangkok, such as Rajdamnern Avenue, Democracy Monument Area Wang Burapha area, Trok Sake community, Victory Monument area, and Rajvidhi area.
